Rin's Friend (Rin Matsuoka x Reader)

Captain

We were all relaxing on the roof and eating our lunches while Nagisa went over the paper for making a new club.
"Alright, here's the deal." Nagisa said showing us the paper. "Since everyone's on board, I got us an application." I stopped eating to look at it.

"You guys do realize I'm not joining, right?" I asked. Nagisa looked shocked.
"But, (Y/n)! You supported the idea." Nagisa whined.
"I have diving practice and I wouldn't have time to myself. Plus I haven't practiced normally in a few years." I explained eating. Nagisa sighed. While they talked about the application, I thought back to what happened with Rin.

~Flashback~

Rin was leaning in and his eyes were half lidded. Our lips grazed each other, until someone knocked on Rin's door. He pulled back quickly and looked at the door then at me. He groaned in disappointment, and stood up while I sat on the bed flustered. He opened to show Nitori smiling. Nitori saw me and his face immediately reddened.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did I interrupt something?" He asked embarrassed. I stood up and walked over.
"Yeah, we..." I cut Rin off.
"No, Rin was helping me with some homework, and I just finished. I was about to leave." I lied. Rin looked confused and a little hurt that I was leaving. I hugged Rin and walked past the two boys. "It was nice seeing you Nitori." I said waving.

~End of flashback~

"Mako, how do you feel about you being our captain?" Nagisa asked. I was intrigued again by the conversation they were having.
"Yeah, you'd be great at it!" I said energetically. He looked at the two of us.
"I don't know. Shouldn't it be Haru? He is the faster swimmer." Mako said. I rolled my eyes.

"Different people have different skills, this isn't about speed it's about leadership." We all looked at Haru enjoying his lunch. Until we had a horrible, but hilarious idea of how Haru would act.

~Idea~

Haru being in a red, blue, and white jacket with gold stars coaching.
"Listen up people!" Haru said energetically. "All first years are on clean up duty, you second years are in charge of the chlorine!" He shifted to pointing to the rest of the swimmers. "Third years, stretch out those quads and dive in!" He finished and the third years started chanting "Sir yes sir Captain Haru!"

~Reality~

I started laughing out loud and holding my stomach at imagining that. Mako looked nervous and Haru was just enjoying what he had in his bento.

"Yeah, no way." Mako stated finally.
"So, Mako, if you're the captain, Haru gets to be your second in command." Nagisa stated. Haru seemed surprised by that. My phone started buzzing and I saw that it was (B/n) texting me.

You busy? I really need to talk to you about yesterday.

I kinda felt bed not explaining anything to him, but I'll talk to him before diving practice.

Hey, sorry about that I'll tell before I go to dive practice.

I put my phone away and got back into there conversation.
"Sorry guys, but what are you guys talking about?" I asked politely. Mako sighed.
"Nagisa just offended every vice captain out there." Mako said in defeat. I stifled me from laughing again, but Nagisa started talking again.

"Now we just need a faculty advisor." Nagisa pointed to the position.
"Anyone in mind?" Mako questioned. No teacher really like or showed any interest in swimming, so I don't think we can find one. Until Nagisa snickered.

"Since you bring it up, I thought we would ask Miss A." Nagisa said looking at us. I questioned his suggestion, but Mako put it into words.
"You think she'd be interested?"
"Based on this crazy rumor that's been going around, I'm pretty sure she would." Nagisa proclaimed.

"Can I tag along with you three?" I asked quietly. Nagisa looked at me before smiling. He came over to my side and put an arm around my shoulder.
"The more the merrier!" He said happily. I giggled a little, and we all started laughing, except Haru.
