Mako and I were sitting at the dinner table with our Dad, and two younger siblings, Ran And Ren. Makoto just finished explaining about the swim club, and Mom was so proud.

"Wow what wonderful news. You'll get to swim with you friends everyday, just like old times." We smiled at her.

"Yeah, although we still have a lot of prep work to do before everything is ready to go." He said sheepishly. I tapped his leg and he gave me a small glare, but kicked my leg back. I chuckled, but the twins started fighting.

"Hey! Don't touch my food, you meanie!" Ren said to Ran. She looked away and stuck her nose up in the air.

"Oh whatever, you're not going to finish that." Ran said

"But I always eat my ham!" He whined. Mako and I were tired of their bickering.

"Hey!" We said sternly. The two looked at us.

"Stop fighting you two, relax there's plenty to go around." He explained giving Ren some of his ham. Ren's face lit up with joy, while Ran looked a little jealous.

"Hey Mako, can I have some more too?" She questioned quickly. I picked up a piece of ham from my plate and gave it to Ran. Dad started chuckling.

"Speaking of old times, I believe the indoor pool you two used to go to is being torn down. At least you'll still have your memories." Dad explained. Mako looked saddened, and I felt sad as well. After we finished dinner, Mako grabbed a sweatshirt and headed for the door.

"Mako? Where are you going?" I asked him. He turned around and smiled.

"I'm going to the old place, want to tag along?" He asked me. I nodded quickly and grabbed my jacket. We started heading towards the direction of the building. "I take it you've seen Rin?" Mako asked me suddenly. I blushed and looked away. I heard him chuckle. "He couldn't stay away even if he tried. Same goes for you. You guys were the best of friends." I nodded shyly.

"Yeah, well I haven't talked to him in a while. I've been trying to avoid him, and it's been working so far." Mako looked saddened that I said that. We were in front of the building, where a giant hole was on the side of the building and a construction machine was there. We both looked at it being run down, until we heard someone speaking.

"Like a knife right through the heart." We saw a man sitting on a cart of some sort for a pizza place. He had blond hair, brown eyes and a little goatie. He looked at the building as well. "Nothing like watching your dreams come crashing down around you, huh? Quite a sight." Mako and I looked at each other confused who he was. He looked at the two of us with his head tilted slightly. "So what are your stories? Used to come around here a lot? Sure you did, why else would you being standing around in the middle of the night?" Mako looked really puzzled, but the guy did look familiar. Until he gasped.

"Coach Sasabe?!" Mako asked excitedly. I knew who he was now, he would train us when the place was running still. He looked rather confused at what Mako said. "Do you remember us? I'm Makoto Tachibana and this is (Y/n)." He said in his face. Coach Sasabe looked shocked and surprised at the same time. It was nice seeing him again.
