Hey guys! Thanks for reading! LISTEN UP, THIS IS AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE AND IT MAY BE USEFUL TO YOU! So this book is slightly different to other books that I write and I'm hoping that you like it anyways! If you are then drop a comment (and a cheeky vote maybe) and tell me what you like or maybe don't like about it. I will listen to all your instructive critism but if you're being mean and purposely spiteful then I won't read it :) plus if you comment then I will read a bit of a novel that you have written (if you want and if you do and you have more than one then please tell me which one it is you would like me to read)
thanks for reading, love ya! :D

I started searching the different books, most of them were sci-fi and thrillers which weren’t really my style but then I got to one book on the very bottom shelf called ‘The Book of Aletsria’. Huh, sounds like a fantasy. It was a really thick, red hardback book and it looked like it hadn’t been read in a while as it was blanketed by dust. I blew the dust off the book and then coughed when the dust flew in my face and I accidently swallowed some. Ew. I sat down and turned it over but there was no blurb on the back. Strange. I opened the first page and started reading.
Dear Reader,
As you are well aware you have picked up a book named ‘The Book of Aletsria’ but this is no ordinary book. The Book of Aletsria never allows anyone to find it apart from the lucky few who are destined to bring peace back to the land of Aletsria. The book has chosen you, reader. The task at hand however is not easy. As you dig even deeper into the world of Aletsria you are endangering your life and others around you. If you feel you can do this task then please follow the instructions at the bottom of the page, if not then leave the book where you found it and pray that it never finds you again. This is a warning, turn back now if you cannot handle the task.
Good luck,
Tin Sparks
Huh. Well, that’s a strange introduction but it had me gripped. I’ll keep reading.
Are you ready?
Step 1: Go to the back of the book and open the hatch. Inside you will find a locket; you must wear it at all times during this book.
Step 2: Grip the locket tight, close your eyes and say these words: I am chosen to enter Aletsria, the book has been opened, and God help our souls.
Is this some sort of joke? I rolled my eyes and turned to the back of the book. I lifted a hatch and inside found a beautiful, antique, silver locket. I had never seen anything more beautiful. I put it around my neck and gripped it tight whilst closing my eyes.
I started to speak. “I am chosen to enter Aletsria, the book has been opened, and God help our souls.”
Before I could open my eyes I felt myself starting to fall as the ground beneath me completely fell away. I shrieked in terror and kept my eyes closed. This can’t be happening. Not to me anyway!
“Ooft!” I landed on the floor with a thud. My eyes still firmly shut; I started to feel around the floor to see where I was. I could feel dry leaves surrounding me. I opened my eyes and I was in a creepy-looking forest.
Okay, this was way too weird. Two seconds ago I was in the library reading a weird book and now I was God knows where in the middle of a forest. I refuse to believe that a stupid book could’ve done this. That sort of stuff only happened in fairy tales, right?
I still had The Book of Aletsria sitting on my lap with it opened to the first page. I read the warning again and sighed. This was just ridiculous; I’m probably dreaming. Nevertheless, I may as well follow its instructions if it’s a dream. I turned the page and started reading again.
