Step six.

I could hear people start to whisper but couldn’t hear exactly what they were saying. Iris, concentrate.

So they were whispering. They were probably just wondering why the skirt of my dress was so big. Calm down!

Step seven.

I heard a few gasps. I knew they could see the bottom of my dress and I smiled. I felt amazing in this dress.

By step ten I could see the ballroom and everyone in it and they could all see me.

            Who is that?

            Is that the wanderer warrior?

            She looks so beautiful!

I wonder who made her dress!

I smiled slightly to myself as I could hear their whispers. They thought I looked beautiful! Well at least that comforted me slightly.

I looked to the bottom of the stairs and noticed Lance standing there in a tuxedo with a gold waistcoat and a gold mask on.

He smirked at me and held his hand out to me. I stepped down the last few steps towards him and took his hand. He leaned in close so his lips were brushing my ear.

“You look beautiful girly.” He whispered.

He pulled back and I grinned at him.

“You don’t look too bad I guess.” I teased.

“Please, we all know you find me attractive.” He winked.

I rolled my eyes. “In your dreams.”

            “Always.”

I laughed as he led me over to the drinks table. He pointed at a bowl of punch.

“Do you want some?” He asked.

I crossed my arms over my chest. “Did you spike it?”

He rolled his eyes and smirked. “What happens if I did?”

“You should pray for mercy when I come to my senses. And yes, I would like some punch.”

“Even though I could’ve spiked it?”

“I’ll take my chances; I trust you.” I shrugged.

He stopped and stared at me for a moment and then smiled mischievously.

            “Brave move.” He winked.

He turned away to put some punch into two glasses. Antoinette, Amour and Rose popped up were his back was turned and started doing fainting motions and fanning themselves.

That was so cute! He is so hot! They mouthed to me.

I gestured swatting them away.
