the song that lance and iris dance to ------------------>

~Bethy <3

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Heathcliff led me onto the dance floor and a reasonably fast tune started playing. I gasped in surprise and happiness when I realised what it was.

“Oh my days, I love this song! It’s ‘you make my dreams come true by Hall and Oates!” I giggled as we both started bopping to the music.

“I’m glad you approve.” Heathcliff winked.

On a night when bad dreams become a screamer

When they're messing with the dreamer

I can laugh it in the face

Twist and shout my way out

 And wrap yourself around me

'Cause I ain't the way that you found me

 I'll never be the same

'Cause you make my dreams come true

Heathcliff and I kept twisting around the dance floor to the music and he kept spinning me until I was dizzy and we were both giggling like naughty school kids. The song ended and I pulled Heathcliff into a bear hug; squeezing him tightly.

“I love you Heathcliff; please promise me that we’ll be best friends.” I whispered into his ear.

“I love you too Iris. I promise.” Heathcliff said into my hair.

I smiled and squeezed him tight. He chuckled and kissed my cheek.

We walked off the dance floor and went to get some food from the buffet table that had been set up. I noticed a really nice red apple sitting on top of a pile of red and green apples. I wanted that nice, shiny apple!

I walked over and picked it up. I looked at it and it was so shiny that you could almost see my reflection. I grinned and kissed it proudly. This was going to be one tasty apple! I opened my mouth I felt my lips and teeth graze the apple before it was hit out of my hands. I heard a few gasps go round the room and the music stooped playing. I saw everyone looking at me and my eyes widened.

“Hey what gives?” I asked in surprise. “That was the most perfect apple!”

I looked at the attacker of my perfect apple which was lying bruised on the floor. I stared into a pair of deep brown eyes which were instantly recognisable as Lance’s. I looked at him accusingly and he had a look of confusion in his eyes.

“I-I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me. I got this really weird vibe telling me that I had to stop you from taking a bite of that apple.” Lance explained.

“Huh, that’s weird.” I said in confusion.

Queen Aria walked over at that moment and stood in front of us.

“Is anything the matter?” She asked worriedly.

“Yes, Lance feels that there is something wrong with the apple.” I explained.
