"Miss Sophie??" I asked, looking up and down at my head of year standing in my doorway alongside the headteacher and the behaviour manager.

"Erm. Yeah, sure." I said, quickly turning and rushing to the living room to look in the mirror and flatten down my bed head.

I shot the three teachers an innocent smile.

"Please, sit down." I said, acting as the good host despite being in my nightgown and looking like the Lochness Monster.

Eh, at least I look better than Miss Sophie. I'm pretty sure her 'skirt' was just a hand towel wrapped around her waist considering the length of it.

"I'm sure you are aware of the incident that occurred in the school yesterday Aria." Mr Horsher said in his seriously annoying accent.

"Yes Sir." I replied, trying not to sound sleepy.

"We're just trying to get a grasp of what happened, and we thought it'd be best to have a talk with you considering you and another young gentleman were quite closely involved with the fire, correct?" Horsher said.

I SWEAR HE SPEAKS SO DAMN FAST.

I stood there looking at him dumbfounded.

"We just want to know what happened from your point of view." Mrs Murphy spoke.

JUST SAY THAT THAT INNIT!

"Well. I was working with Mitchell, and he accidentally dropped a beaker with a little acid in it. Accidental of course. Then the Bunsen Burner slipped and next thing that happened was there being an ignited flame on the ground and people rushing and screaming out the class." I explained.

"Hm. And did anyone else see this happen so we could get there op-"

Mrs Murphy was cut off by Mr Horsher.

Surprise surprise.

"Let me stop your right there Miss," he said whilst turning to face me. "So how did this Bunsen burner slip in the first place?"

Oh shit.

Lie lie lie!!

"Erm. I don't really remember." I said.

"You see, that's the part I'm finding a little bit difficult to understand. I mean, you remembered how the beaker fell at Mitchell's hands. Why not the burner?" He asked.

Agh, dammit.

"I'm not sure. I mean it all happened quickly from that point." I replied.

"Well, we will be in touch with your parents then. Thank you for your help Aria." Miss Sophie said, before getting up and exiting alongside the other three teachers.

That was creepy.

And scary.

And a close call.

Maybe too close a call..

"Oh my God, they showed up at your door!?" Monika laughed as she put her feet up on the random bed in her front room.

"It was so freaking creepy, and oh my God you should've seen what Miss Sophie was wearing!" I laughed hysterically.

"Hm, tablecloth this time or half ripped scarf as a skirt?" Rosalie asked sarcastically.

"Nah nah, have you seen the weather!? It was clearly a hand towel." Angel smirked.

"Hand towel." I replied as Angel stuck her tongue out at Rosalie.

"So, what else happened?" Selina asked.

"They just asked me what happened, I swear Horsher gave me a full blown interrogation, like I was Britain's Most Wanted." I said.

"Can't blame them." Selina muttered quietly, but loud enough for me to throw a pillow at her.

"NO THROWING PILLOWS!" Monika yelled. "I CANNOT AFFORD FOR US TO BREAK ANOTHER TV!"

Okay she had a point there.

"So what do you guys want to do?" Angel asked.

"Eat." Rosalie stated whilst nodding her head.

"It's sunny man, why not go to the park?" Selina suggested.

"Come." Monika said, jumping up from the bed. "Let me just go grab my phone."

"Kay." We all said in unison.

*******

The park was right opposite Monika's house, so the walk wasn't exactly that long.

"Ugh, why are you guys making me walk?" Rosalie moaned, as she dragged her feet up the steep pathway.

"Stop complaining." Angel replied whilst rolling her eyes.

Rosalie was about to retort before Monika and I instantly stopped in front of them.

"What's wrong?" Angel asked.

"Mitchell and all his mates are there." I said, instantly regretting coming.

"Oooh - oh my God, MITCHELL!!" Rosalie yelled out, before I swivelled around and clamped my hand over her mouth to shut her up.

"Your no fun." Angel said.

"Well it's not my f-" I began before being cut off.

"WATCH OUT!" A group of voices came from behind, before a football came flying out of nowhere and hit me in the back of my leg.

"Ow!!! What the fuck!!" I shouted as I turned around, only to be face to face with Mitchell.

"I said watch out." He said defensively.

"If you can't play football properly then don't do it at all." I retorted whilst folding my arms.

"Not my fault that you were standing there. And by the way, I can play football way better than you." Mitchell smirked as he picked up his football and turned around.

"Is that a challenge or something?!" I yelled as he stopped in his tracks, and walked back towards me.

"You tell me." He replied.

I was about to speak until..

"MITCHELL STOP FLIRTING AND BRING BACK THE FOOTBALL!!" A group of guys yelled from the football cages.

"4 o clock tomorrow. My friends and I verses you and yours." I smirked at the idea of beating him.

"Want to bet on it? Let's say whoever loses takes full blame for the fire, no backing out." Mitchell grinned as he placed his hand out to close the deal.

I looked at him for a moment in hesitation.

"Deal." I said, shaking his hand as he walked back to the cages.

That little bitch was going down.

...Right?
