Selina's POV:
"Shh!" I whispered loudly, peeping my head out the bush. "If anyone sees us here everything's going to fucking flames."
"Okay okay." He replied. "What's with Mitchell?"
"His surgery went well which is damn well unfortunate." I replied. "I'm guessing we have about a couple of weeks to do what we want until he's out."
"What did Keegan say the plan was?" He asked.
"Honestly do you get told anything?" I rolled my eyes. "We deal with everyone else first, then leave Aria and Ishmael till last. They'll be way too damn invested in each other to notice anything else going on."
"Ohh." He nodded, showing he understood. "But what do we tell Keegan about us?"
"We don't need to say anything about that yet." I smiled, whilst shuffling the side of his hair. "He'll find out. In good time."
"If not, I'm pretty sure I could take him on Selina." He replied, holding my hand on the side of his face.
"I have no doubts you could Wayne. I have no doubts you could."
*******
I snuck back upstairs to the hospital waiting room, Ishmael and Aria were back and Ramon and Monika had gone in. It's not like they noticed me anyway. As expected, they were both engulfed in each other's eyes and talking and Aria practically begging for comfort as per usual. I'm surprised they haven't made out by Mitchell's bedside for Christ's sake.
I was not down to deal with this for the next two hours.
"Guys?" I began, causing Aria, Abram, Ishmael, Angel and Rosalie to look at me. "I'm just gonna run in and see Mitchell now because erm, my tutor texted and I need to be there in like thirty minutes."
"Okay, but you're gonna have to wait till Ramon and Mon-"
She was cut off by Monika and Ramon walking back into the room.
"I'll be on my way then." I smiled, before turning away, groaning and walking off.
*******
So I did go in and see Mitchell.
For like, two minutes.
Oh come on, what else was I meant to do?
He's practically lying there like a corpse okay, and I am not going to grab his hand and sulk and cry and kiss him so he got a basic "s'up" and me just sitting by his bedside for the remaining time.
Obviously I didn't have to go tuition, but hospitals genuinely sickened me, and I'd just met with Wayne, so I figured I should go see Keegan and let him know what was going on.

Ishmael's POV:
"We all done here guys?" I asked, as Rosalie and Angel walked back into the waiting room, after visiting Mitchell. "You do know we're back to school tomorrow, right?"
"Ugh, this whole holiday's just been a mess." Angel sighed, picking up her bag and putting it over her shoulder.
"Well not entirely?" Monika said, trying to brighten the mood. "Like we've had some fun."
"Not that it matters." Aria said monotonously. "Considering the fact that Mitchell is literally lying in a hospital bed and we can't do anything about it and we don't even know where to start to find out how this crash happened."
Yeah..that was the thing.
Aria didn't know that Keegan had something to do with the crash.
We didn't know how to even explain it to her. Like, "Hey Aria, do you know how Keegan tried to dismantle yours and Mitchell's relationship? Well newsflash he also just attempted murder on the both of you!"
She had enough on her mind as it was, we would tell her when the time is right. But that time isn't now.
Whilst I had drifted off into my thoughts, an awkward silence came about us, before I spoke up before Aria started getting suspicious about it,
"So...what are we doing for the rest of the day?" I asked.
"Well it's currently.. 12:30," Abram said whilst checking his watch. "So like if you all wanna go and eat and then go get every bit of work done that we were meant to do throughout this week at the library?"
"I say we grab the food and eat whilst in the library." Rosalie stated.
"Again? After last time?" Angel asked, folding her arms.
"Hey I didn't know that was a librarian!" Rosalie cried defensively, as we all giggled.
It felt good to laugh together after a while - I wish that I could freeze these moments in a frame and picture them, because frankly, I was sick of the crap that we'd all been thrown into because of an ex friend.
"Should I text Selina or..?" Angel asked, pulling out her phone.
"Nah her tuition ends late on Sundays, she ain't gonna be able to come." Monika said.
Angel nodded back before we went silent for a minute before Aria spoke up,
"Soo...what food we getting?"

Selina's POV:
I pulled up outside Keegan's house, looking around to see if his parent's car was there.
And it was.
Other entrance it is I guess.
Next to Keegan's house was a council owned piece of land, you know the ones that say 'no trespassing, rubbish, parking' - yeah that. I stepped over its low fence, (not even a fence, more like a bar that a pigeon could shimmy under), and walked over the slightly muddy grass, round to the side of Keegan's house, where nothing was on the wall but a partially open window to his room. Or so everyone thought. I knelt down in the grass and brushed it aside, revealing an old basement trap door of sorts, leading into the ground. I hadn't entered this way in a while, so the clamp and lock were kind of rusty, so I had to put a fair bit of effort in to open it. And so I walked in.
The basement was gloomy and damp, not necessarily done up or anything, more like a storage cellar. I always suggested to him to move his room down here because, A) it would make my life hella easier than having to sneak around his house like a prisoner when his parents were home, (they didn't really like me for reasons I shall explain another time) and B) it was actually a pretty big space.
I snuck up the stairs, carefully opening the door which led me out from under the stairs, turning my head back and forth to see whereabouts his parents were, and I heard voices from the kitchen before deciding it was probably my opportunity to run up the second set of stairs.
Okay I'm starting to realise I sound like a creep sneaking into a boy's house and all through his cellar BUT IT'S FOR A HIGHER PURPOSE OKAY.
I entered Keegan's room to find him slumped on his bed, tilted towards the wall on his phone, before I ran and jumped up behind him, to which he screamed like a girl,
"SELINA WHAT THE FUCK!" He yelled, jumping back.
"Surprise!" I smiled, waving my jazz hands in the air.
"Sheesh I have got to lock that damn cellar door from you." He said, sitting upright. "You couldn't have texted?"
"Yeah I'm kinda taking safety precautions and all to not link myself to the car crash of one of my bestfriends and her boyfriend, so excuse me for avoiding technology." I smiled sarcastically at him.
"Whatever, what's new then?" He asked.
"Well, Mitchell's on his happy road to recovery and school starts tomorrow so I guess things are starting to go back to normal, meaning our bloody time is already running out!!" I complained whilst folding my arms. "Meaning you have to get a move on with the whole thing."
"Hey have I ever disappointed you?" He asked me, turning my face towards him with his hand, before we smiled at each other, nose to nose, and our lips met.
"Not yet you haven't."
