"I'VE HEARD YOU GUYS SCREAMING FROM DOWN THE HALL FOR AGES CAN YOU GUYS SHUT UP?" Mitchell yelled.
I ignored everything surrounding me and ran to him, throwing my arms around him and embracing him in a hug. I remembered his scent, as I buried my head into his shoulder, crying tears of joy and sadness as the emotions hit me like a flood.
"You're okay.." I sniffled, as I clung onto him. "I thought you'd never wake up."
Nothing could explain my happiness in that moment, it was like..even though everything in that room was so terrible - his presence, his voice, his embrace made everything seem so right.
But something felt wrong.
He wasn't hugging back.
In fact - he wasn't even reacting.
I pulled away from him though, still holding his arms as I wiped my tears to see if it was really him, and it was...but he looked at me as if I was a ghost. His gaze drifted across the dim, still silent room, before his expression changed.
"Ishmael!" He exclaimed, half running over to him as they both hugged each other. "It feels like it's been forever man."
Ishmael looked happy, but dumbfounded,
"I-it has man, but uh - what was with..?" He asked, signalling over to me.
"I was going to ask you that!" Mitchell said. "What was that about?"
My jaw dropped, and I think everyone else's in the room did aswell.
"You're kidding me right man?" Ishmael asked him, his smile fading.
"No..?" Mitchell replied, looking around the room once more. "In fact, who are any of these people?"
Ishmael gave him no reply.
"Mitchell?" I walked over in front of him, placing my hand on his shoulder. "Don't you remember me? Aria? Your girlfriend?"
He looked deep into my eyes for a second, before moving my hand off his shoulder and stepping back behind Ishmael,
"I don't know you."
