Chapter V: Bullies

- Yes, of course I'll go to the dance with you!, she says, going to hug me.

- Wait, wait.. You said 'yes'?, I answer, confused and as happy as ever.

-Yes! I was about to ask you the same thing!

- But isn't it a 'Boy Ask Gi'-, she stops me again.

- Does it look like I would care about that?

- Good point, I answer, smiling like an idiot. But, I still need to tell you something..

- Can it wait until tomorrow? We have to got to class, and then we have to go straight home. And you know how strict my step-mom is, she says.

- Yeah.

Well, I've finally gotten a date for the first time in my life, since I've always been sort of a dork at school.

Now all I need to do is tell her one other thing.. That could change get whole life.

*ASH'S POV*

He asked me out? I guess he does like me that way, and I'm happy about it! I've only been here for about a month now, and I've got a boyfriend. The one thing that still bothers me about him is that one day with the book. I'm still wondering what's so weird about that book.

- So, Jason.. How long has you liked me? If you don't bother me asking, of course.

- Umm, about a week after you started at this school.. Is that creepy?, he asks.

- No! I've been here for about a month anyway, I reply.

We walk into the school holding hands.

We walk in to see this snobby-looking girl looking at us.

- Oh, the two NERDS are holding hands!

- Shut up, Terra!, he yells at her. Wow, I didn't know that he could, or would, stand up to someone like that.

- Why? Is she your girlfriend?, she says, mockingly.

- Yes, actually! Now leave us alone!, he says, looking back at me. Don't listen to her, she's an idiot, he says, smiling.

- Hehe, okay.., I reply.

Okay, note-to-self: one; Don't mess with Terra. two; I think I just may have an enemy now.. This isn't gonna end well.
