~Nash's POV~
When Casey said that she loved me back, I was super happy. I just wish that she wasn't drunk that night so that I know it was definitely true. I tried to tell myself not to kiss her or hug her too much in case she doesn't remember it. Now I will just have to tell her again, but I guess this time will be easier.
I woke up and Casey was still asleep. I rubbed her back and played with her hair. After a while she woke up and stared into my eyes. She kissed my cheek then ran right into the bathroom, like someone was chasing after her. I heard the sound effect of her throwing up and occasionally coughing. I felt bad.
I went into the bathroom, but by then she was drinking some cold water and brushing her teeth. She smiled at me when she was finished and wrapped her arms around my waist and kissed me on the lips.
"Now about that date?" She said. And she held my hand.
~Casey's POV~
I really couldn't wait for our date tonight. I mean I sort of owed it to him after I got drunk and high in an ally way and make him pick me up. Well, hopefully nothing bad happens this time.
Nash told me to wear a nice dress, but to make sure that it wasn't too dressy. So I searched through my closet for what felt like hours trying to find the perfect dress. Then I found it. It was a little tight, but I think it fit better than it ever had.
It was a bright red dress that was strapless and ended about midthigh. It sort of sparkled and it had a zipper going down the middle of it. I use to wear this dress almost every night when I went clubbing. I found my black high heels. They were so high that I sort of stumbled at first. My hair looked flawless, and my makeup was perfect. It was a pretty good day for a date. I grabbed my phone and saw I had some missed messages.
I heard the doorbell ring and I decided that I would just ignore them and check it later. I ran down the stairs and opened the door. I saw Nash. He was wearing a button down shirt and kaki shorts with sperrys. His jaw dropped and he was speechless.
"Hi." I said, breaking the silence. He took a while to respond, eyeing me up and down. I laughed.
"Oh hi. I'm sorry, it's just that you're so beautiful." He said. I felt myself blushing.
Then I closed the door and Nash took my hand and walked me to the car. His hand fit mine perfectly. Our fingers wrapped up in each other's. He opened the door for me and I hopped in the truck. Then he ran around the car and got in on his side. He started the car and took my left hand. I smiled.
He drove for quite a while and then we were parked outside of a cute little restaurant. It was so nice out tonight. The breeze was warm and peaceful, so we sat outside. It was nice because it wasn't that crowded. We ordered our drinks. He ordered a coke and I just got water. I stared into his deep blue eyes. He was really cute. I held my hand out across the table and he put his out to hold mine.
"So, Casey, I don't really know much about you." He said. Oh god, with a past like mine, who would.
"Well . . what do you want to know?" I said calmly.
"Hmmmm . . . what's your favorite color?" He asked. I felt a sigh of relief.
"Blue." I said. I was going to say black, but then he would think I was goth.
"Oh, that's good." He gave me a smirk and I laughed. "So you must looovveeee my beautiful blue eyes then?" He said. I laughed.
"Yeah. You bet, that's basically what I like about you." I said.
"Okay, your turn." Then the drinks came and after we ordered the food I asked the next question.
"Why did you move, and where from?" I asked.
"Well I was from here originally, but I just moved to a new town. I don't know why though, I guess we just liked this house better." He said. Then he laughed. "Hey! That was two questions!"
"Fine! Then you ask me two questions."
"Okay . . . Ummm why do you always go to wild parties? I mean, almost everytime I see you you're either drunk, high or both." He said this seriously, like he was concerned for me.
"Ugh . . . well I guess you could say I ended up in the wrong crowd. I mean freshman year I had no friends. I was desperate for someone to talk to or at least be able to sit at lunch with. I was all by myself. I started cutting myself. I started going to parties and drinking and they accepted me.
I thought that they were the good group because of how social they were but I was wrong. They also helped me stop from cutting so I thought maybe they werent so bad. I ended up dating one of them and we would get wasted every night. We started doing drugs and then I don't really know what happened. I mean, his name was Caleb and he was always telling me what to do and when to do it.
We would go to parties and he would tell me who I could and couldn't hang out with. He would make me do drugs until I became addicted. I became friends with Brittany and she would take me to the parties. I tried not to talk to Caleb but he's just really . . . protective of me. More like suffocating. It didn't end well with us. He basically told everyone that I was a slut and that I was a freak that just wanted to use him. So now . . . as you can tell, I have no friends.
Not even my family knows that I do this. They basically just thought I was in the hospital for over dosing on like medicine. They always leave me home alone because my grandma lives in Colorado and she lives alone. So I have no one here for me. Sorry for dumping that on you, I mean you did ask." I am so glad that I let it all out. Now he won't question me about my past, but hopefully he never goes more in depth about my past.
