Chapter 7

~Casey's POV~

After our little incident, me and Nash just decided to hang around. We watched some movies and we cuddled together. This was so much better than going to a party and getting drunk. Nash has really helped me out with everything because I used to go out every single night and just sleep all day. I would ditch school and do drugs.

We were now up to our fourth movie in a row. We were watching Catching Fire and I started to fall asleep. My head was resting on his chest and I felt his hand running through my hair and the other rubbing my back. I held him around his waist and fell asleep. This was perfect.

"Casey? Casey? Wake up! Casey?" I hear Nash say.

"What? What happened? I'm up!" I said and jumped up. I fell off the bed. I laughed and Nash smiled. He came off the bed and picked me up.

"I am going to have to go soon, okay?" He said. I didn't want him to go.

"It's not okay. I want you to stay here." I said. I pouted my lip and he laughed.

"Well maybe you could come over my house then." He said. I smiled.

"Really?" I asked. He nodded his head in approval. "Let me just take a quick shower. I'll be out in a minute!" I said. I hugged him and went into the bathroom. I have never taken a shower this fast before. I grabbed my comfy sweat pants and a tank top. I put my hair up in a bun and came out of the bathroom.

"Perfect! You look beautiful! Now let's go!!" He said. He bent over and told me to get on his back. I gladly did.

He carried me all the way down the stairs and back to his house. It wasn't that far anyway. When he walked in his mother was in the kitchen. His house was really nice.

"Hey mom!" Nash said. He hugged her and kissed her on the cheek.

"Hey Nash! And this must be the lovely Casey I've been hearing about 24/7!" His mom said. Nash gave her a look and he blushed. I smiled.

"Hi! It's really nice meeting you!" I said. I shook hands with her.

"Nash. By the way dinner will be ready soon, so don't get too comfortable." Nash's mom said. Then I saw her wink. Nash walked away blushing and shaking his head.

We walked upstairs into Nash's room. It was really nice and big. He layed down and held both my hands. He pulled me down so I was laying down on top of him. I kissed him on his nose and he smiled.

"YO NASH! I NEED TO BORROW- ooo who's this?!?" I heard a voice say from the doorway.

"HAYES LEAVE!!!" Nash yelled at him and threw a pillow. He hit him square in the face.

I laughed and then Nash shut the door.

"Sorry. I didn't know he was home. I thought he was still out with his friends." Nash said while jumping back on the bed.

"That's okay." I said. Then I got my phone from my pocket and checked all my messages and social media.

Most of the messages were just junk, but I saw that I got a message from Brittany.

hey girl, I wasn't sure if you were okay cuz you been missing like every party in town. Anyway, I just want to let you know that there will be another partay tomorrow at 7. PLEASE COME! its gonna be rockin'

I wasn't sure how to respond. I mean, I really wanted to go, but I couldn't. I can't and I won't! I won't go back into that life, it was too dangerous and life threatening.

"What's wrong?" Nash asked.

"Nothing."

"Then come and cuddle with meeee!!"

"What if I don't want to." I said.

"Pleeeaasseeeee!?!" He kept begging me.

"I'm gonna get some fresh air, I'll be back." I walked downstairs and out of his house. I went out the back do I could go to the beach.

I walked down to the shore and felt the warm sand under my feet. I sat down and I put my face down to my knees. I don't know what to do. I read over the message over and over again and decided that I would reply.

Heyyy Brittany, just letting you know that I will be going to the party tomorrow. What time are you gonna pick me up? Okay, see ya then! Bye.

I sent it and before I knew it I was already regretting it. Hopefully Nash has other plans than to spend the night with me.
