I zoned out for most if the service. I couldn't focus. Then, I realized that it was my time to talk about my relationship with Casey.I stood up slowly, then I walked over to the big stand they had set up.

I took a deep breath, and just starting reading what I wrote.

"Hi," I said awkwardly. "My name is Nash Grier, and I am Casey's boyfriend and her best friend. I love Casey, she was the only girl I had ever fallen deeply in love with. She made me feel, like nothing bad could happen in the world. She made me realize that we don't always have a second chance at life." I paused for a minute.

"I remember that first day I met her. I had just moved a town or two over. I went down to the beach and she was just laying there. She was so beautiful. I knew right away that she was the one. Me and Casey we always there for each other.

Casey did use to have problems with drugs and alcohol. She took me to this party once, I mean she actually made it pretty fun. She was the life of the party. When she was there, everyone was happy. I saw it in all of their eyes. They might not remember her in the morning, but they knew she was just so amazing. That she was like no other. That is why I loved her so much." I saw some smiles on people's faces as they remembered the good memories of Casey's life.

"Me and Casey always said forever. That was our thing. That one day we would run away, live in cute little house far away, and just spend everyday with each other. She was my forever. I had promised her, and I broke that promise. But nothing lasts forever. I guess our love couldn't prevail. We did try. But forever is a long time"

"Casey may have died, but our love never will, and that is a promise that I can keep this time. The only time when goodbyes are painful," I started hysterical crying "is when you know you'll never say hello again . . . so with that, goodbye Casey. It's been one hell of a forever if you ask me." I said, everyone looked at me with such sadness yet they looked proud . Everyone started clapping and crying, which I didn't even know you were suppose to clap at funerals.

I sat down with my face still wet from my tears. I thought about Casey. She was really something else.
