~Casey's POV~

I texted Luke that I had a family emergency, that I had to leave town, and to tell no one. I got out a backpack and filled it with clothes, bras and underwear. I put in a toothbrush and some toothpaste, a hair brush, and I packed an extra pair of socks. I put my converse on and grabbed my car keys.

I ran outside and saw Nash running towards my car. In his hand was a fully packed duffel bag. I unlocked the car and he opened the trunk. We threw in our bags and I threw him the keys.

He got in the driver's side and I got in the passenger's side. He started the car and excelerated out of its parking spot. He rode pretty fast for the town we lived in. He went through some red lights and I kept figiting. I thought something might happen. He got on the highway and slowed down a little.

"Casey. Are you okay?" He said reassuringly.

"Yeah, just nervous, and scared, and a little car sick. I'm fine now though." I said. He grabbed my hand while keeping his eyes on the road. "Thanks." I said. I turned on the radio, and of course Nash started singing the song playing. I couldn't stop laughing. I looked at his beautiful blue eyes. I just realized, that I am completely in love with him right now.

"Hey Case, don't worry. Just a few more hours on the road. Okay?"

"Sure. Are you sure that no one is at your vacation house?"

"Yeah, I called there, and no one picked up. Trust me, no one goes there anymore anyway." He smiled and I instantly looked away.

A tear rolled down my cheek as I looked out the window. I checked my phone. There was a voicemail from Luke. Crap. I put in my headphones and started the message.

Hi um Casey. I know that you don't love me anymore, but . . . just promise me one thing. Make sure that you never go for any jerks out there. And make sure that this Nash guy doesn't pull any tricks on you, or he'll be dealing with me. He started laughing. I could feel him smiling throughout the whole thing. I love you Casey, you're my best friend. You know, it really sucks that you broke my heart. But if my heart had to be broken by someone, I'm glad that it was you. Thank you for what we had. Now it's time you were with who you really loved. To be with Nash.

Tears rolled down my cheeks and I wiped them away. I stared out the window and watched out. I wasn't sure exactly what I was looking for, but I kept looking outside.

His words kept replaying in my mind. He loves me, but I mean, we are best friends. He fully understands everything. I'm glad that we dated for a while.

Maybe our dream will finally come true. We will run away, live with each other away from everyone and everything. We could live there . . . we could live there forever.

~Luke's POV~

(A/N) I haven't really done a Luke's pov in a while, or at all. I forgot if I did one lol. Okay sorry for interrupting. Enjoy.

I left the message on Casey's phone not regretting a thing. I loved her, and I hope to continue to be best friends with her.

I ran back to her apartment to see if she had left yet. I had her extra key, so I got in easily. When I walked in, the place looked like a wreck. Papers everywhere. Garbage all over the floor. I could barely see the hardwood flooring. I looked around the room and noticed a note on the refrigerator. I took it off and read it.

Come in the bedroom for a little surprise.

-C

I assume that this note was from Casey, even though we just broke up. Something didn't seem right, so I went to the bedroom to see if anything was wrong. When I got inside there was a guy sitting on the bed. He looked familiar.

"Who the hell are you?" He scoffed.

"More like who the hell are you? And what are you doing here. This isn't even your house!"

"Hmm... I assume that this house isn't yours either." His voice was piercing. Like a hawk screeching in your ears.

"Well, I, unlike you, actually have a key." I said.

"Is that so? And is this Casey's apartment?"

"What's it to you?"

"We have unfinished business." He took out a knife from behind him and stood up. He was muscular, but I could still take him down. I was a lot taller, plus, his body weight didn't fit for his size body.

"Well, I say that it was finished a long time ago. You can leave now." I said.

"No, you can leave." With that he was on top of me. He put the knife up against my neck and was trying to hold me down.

"If you kill me Casey will never forgive you." I said between breathing.

"I'm not asking for forgiveness. All I want is revenge." Then I felt something wet all over my arm. My arm had a piercing pain and it was immovable. I vision started blurring and I could feel myself losing a lot of blood. This was it. This was the end.

~Caleb's POV~

Once I stabbed of that piece of garbage in the arm, I got up and ran out the door. I took the guy's phone of course. I saw that he had her number so I called it. Hope that she's up for a little surprise. I know I am.
