~Nash's POV~
We have been driving for quite some time now. I didn't even know this girl's name for heaven's sakes.
"Hey, um so what's your name anyway?" I asked.
"That's for me to know and you to find out at the right time." She said without looking at me. Then she turned and winked and looked back out the window.
"Well, my name is Nash. I'm sure you probably know that already though." I said.
"Cool." She turned around and looked at me now. "I like that name. Nash" She laughed. I stopped at the red light and turned my head all the way so that I was facing her.
"So do you go to North Carolina high school, or nahh?" I asked. She smiled.
"No, I dropped out a while ago. Actually last year, I was almost expelled and that's when I left. So, well yeah." She said.
"What would you have gotten expelled for?" I asked.
"Well there were multiple things. I was doing drugs and I sort of ditched school for the entire sophomore year. I ditched so much that they just didn't even call my name at attendance. It was pretty funny." She laughed a little and the light turned green. I stepped on the gas and we went foward.
"Now, enough about me. What about you? I'm sure that you get all of the ladies in this town." She sounds like she's joking but her eyes tell me otherwise.
"Not really actually. I actually only had a few girlfriends before this." I sort of choked at the word girlfriend but I hoped she didn't notice.
"Before what?"
"Well, before I met you, of course!"
"Well, that's what everyone thinks, before they actually get to know me." She sighed heavily.
"What do you mean? Who wouldn't want to hang out with you?" I was really surprised. I mean, she is really nice. But I did only just meet her.
"Nash, you don't know me. Okay, We're here. stop the car. It's my house." She said.
I stopped the car and she looked at me. Not really looking me in the eye.
"Can I get your number before you go?" I asked.
"I really don't think you'll want it. But, thanks for the ride anyway. Um bye!" She said.
She opened the door and ran out. She dropped her phone and it cracked but she just picked it up again and kept running. She went into the house. It was really weird. I got the chills when I saw it. It looked so familiar. Like I know someone who would live there.
I decided to just wait a few minutes to see if anyone would come out. I saw some guy walk out. He looked so familiar. He had that face. I was thinking for minute until he ran back inside. The memories started flooding back. I think I remember. Only one thing had came into my mind.
What was she doing at Caleb's house? Wait, wasn't Caleb in jail? What the hell is going on?
