BOOZE AND CHIPS SURROUNDED chase as he sat on the counter of a random house. he had no idea whose house it was, but when he got the text telling him to come, earlier that day while he was sitting in one of his many detentions, he didn't hesitate to say yes and told his parents he was sleeping over tyler's. his parents loved tyler and thought he was an angel so they easily agreed, but here the two boys were, drinking beer and getting contact highs. neither smoked, but they were both surrounded by it almost twenty four-seven. tyler had wandered off to play beer pong and chase was still drinking vodka and lemonade.

"glad you could make it." a boy smiled, appearing in front of him. chase's feet dangled lightly back and forth beneath him and his back was pressed to a cupboard as he looked at the stranger. "i saw you come in awhile ago, but i didn't want to bother you the minute you got here."

chase rose an eyebrow. "you're the one that invited me?"

the guy nodded. "i mean, it is my party." he had to be a freshman in college and chase was completely clueless as to how he even knew of him since the brunet had never seen the boy before. he laughed, almost if he was reading chase's thoughts. "i saw you at a party about a month ago and thought you were cute."

chase nodded lightly and sipped his drink. "sorry to say i don't recognize you."

"i didn't think you would." the boy shrugged. "you were pretty wasted when we met." he eyed chase as the boy looked down at his almost empty cup. "seems like you're getting close to that again."

chase licked his lips and placed his cup down. "what's your name?"

"wes," the boy answered and chase wore a tired smile on his face.

"cute." before wes could thank him, chase grabbed the back of his head and pulled the boy to him, pressing his lips to wes'. wes immediately responded to the kiss and eagerly grabbed the younger boy's waist, kissing him hard. chase's fingers gripped at the brunet's hair and he wrapped his legs around wes' waist to pull him closer.

wes detached their lips and moved to the boy's neck, kissing the skin lightly. chase's eyes drifted off to a crowd of people standing in a circle and though his vision was a little hazy he could see someone looking at him. they looked oddly familiar, but chase couldn't see clearly to determine who it was. he returned his attention back to the boy sucking a hickey into his neck and let out an unexpected moan.

wes smirked against his neck before pulling away. "let's take this somewhere else." he grabbed chase's hand and helped the boy off the counter before he was led in the direction of the stairs.

"i don't think so." a hand flew in front of chase and the boy walked right into it, causing it to hit his chest.

chase let out a whine and turned to the stranger. his eyes suddenly widened and he quickly let go of wes' hand. "what are you doing here?"

the boy rolled his eyes. "i should be asking you that."

"i invited him." wes stated and the brunet that still had his hand on chase's chest glanced at the boy.

"you do know how old he is, right?"

"yeah," wes shrugged his shoulders. "i wasn't gonna do anything unless he wanted it."

chase slightly smirked, turning to look at wes. "i wanted it." he went to step towards the boy, but was held back by the hand once again.

"how would alec feel if he saw you here?" chase's smirk dropped and he looked at the older boy. tom was the least intimidating person he had ever seen, yet his threat to tell his brother made him nervous.

"alec's not my dad." chase's head was buzzing and he forgot why he had gotten off the counter in the first place. wes had walked away in annoyance and tom wrapped an arm around the boy's shoulders, leading him towards the front door. "don't make me leave." he whined. "please?"

tom shook his head. "you're trashed, chase. you need to go home and sleep." chase grabbed a random cup with liquid from a table and started to drink it, but tom quickly took it and shook his head. "you're gonna get alcohol poisoning, holy shit."

chase scoffed, stumbling over his feet. a giggle left his lips as they exited the house. people were saying goodbye to him and the brunet smiled, giving them all waves. tom was parked a bit down the street, so as a completely sober tom walked a completely wasted chase to his car the two remained quiet.

"i can't go home." chase slurred as tom opened the passenger door to his car. "i told my mom i was sleeping over tyler's." chase's eyes widened as he shouted, "wait, tyler!"

tom shushed him, placing his hand over the younger boy's mouth. "be quiet, people are sleeping." he helped chase get into the car and buckled him up. "you can stay at mine."

chase huffed and crossed his arms across his chest. a pout formed on his lips as tom got in the car and the two faded away from the party. it was quiet for only a few minutes before tom glanced at chase while sitting at a red light. "did you eat anything at the party?"

"no." chase scoffed. "the food is always gross."

tom sighed, driving when the light turned green. he drove the rest of the way home and helped chase get out once they were parked. "you need to be quiet because my parents are sleeping." he stated as he led the younger boy towards his front door. his house was small, but it seemed nice. chase's vision was still going in and out, and he had trouble trying to remember how much he had actually had to drink. as he tripped over air another light giggle left his lips and tom rolled his eyes, holding the boy's shoulders. when they approached stairs tom paused and looked at the boy. he turned to face chase and grabbed both his wrists. "i need to you walk down stairs. do you think you can do that?" his voice was low.

chase smiled, "i got this." he didn't even make it one step before tom was helping him the rest of the way down. "your room is in the basement?" he questioned loudly and tom slapped a palm to his forehead.

"shut up!" he whisper-yelled.

tom flipped the light to his room on and closed the door behind him, locking it also. he led chase over to his bed and helped the boy lay down before he grabbed a water bottle from the mini fridge, placing it on the nightstand. chase sat up to take off his shoes and let out a whine as he struggled to undo the laces. tom shook his head at the boy and helped him before placing his shoes on the floor.

chase groaned loudly as he started to hiccup. "i hate hiccups." he pouted and it caused tom to chuckle. the brunet sighed, finally growing tired. he turned back to face tom and smiled tiredly at the boy as he covered him with a blanket. as tom reached over chase to grab his extra pillow the younger boy grabbed the older one's shirt, bringing tom closer to him. he pressed a light kiss to the brunet's lips and turned his back to him. "thank you." he said before he was completely out.
