Cam turned around and pushed Nat aside. She heard her dad cry her name as she ran down stairs, needing to get out of here. She can’t be here right now when she just caught her dad in the act of cheating.
“Cameron, please, stop!”, she heard her father as she ran out of the house and felt an a hand grabbed her by the arm to stop her and turn her around to see he was only in his boxers. “Cameron, please, let me explain—”,
“I hate you!”, she yelled. “How long, dad? How long have you been cheating on mom with…with…with her!”, she yelled, not sure if she could say her name anymore. It brought tears to her eyes.
“Does it matter?”, he question andCam stared at him in shock.
“Does it matter?”, she question. “Of course it matters! It tells me how long you have been a terrible husband! Why dad? Why? Anwer me!”, she screamed as tears slid down her face. She hit at his chest when he placed his hands on his each side of her arms, “No! Don’t touch me!”, she yelled, removing his hands.
“Honey, you have to understand. I love you, that all that matters.”, he said, keeping his voice calm and caring sounding.
“Lair!”, she couldn’t help her voice level. “You don’t love me, mom, or Ethan!”,
“Honey, of course I love you and Ethan, you both are my world! Look, I love your mom, but not how I use to anymore.”, he said, his voice calm.
Cam ran her hand threw her hair and look away, not sure how she feels. Mad, angry, upset, tore down, or whatever else shit you can feel when you find something like this. Really, she wanted to punch her dad right now.
“Baby girl, don’t look like that.”, he said. “I don’t like that look.”,
Her head snapped to look at him in disgust, “I hate you. Your ruining our family just because of Lindsey? Your leaving my mother who only interest in you is because of your money.”,
“Baby, I know this is upsetting, but—”,
“But nothing, dad, I caught you.”, she said. “Why? Why? Why?”, she asked as her anger built and she started pushing at his chest. He grabbed her arms and pulled her into his chest, putting his arms around her, “Your leaving us, leavingme.”, she said as tears left her eyes and she cried.
