It’s been a week since Cam last saw Nat. She has been able to act like everything okay in front of Chris and Kim, but when she’s alone, she’s felt depressed and can’t help but think of him.

Cam was over at Kim house since she was going to borrow a pair of heels of Kim to practice in since she has to dance in heels and Cam never wore two inch heels before. Kim looked so excited and she clapped before telling Cam to get up.

Cam hesitated, but got up. The heels weren’t pointy skinny, but still skinny enough she felt like she’ll need lots of practice. She took a step forward and she didn’t tumble or trip at all.

She smiled and walked across Kim living room. She started out slow, then picked up her speed until she passed the dinning room and kitchen. When she walked back, Kim cheered.

“Good. Lets go walking around so you’ll feet get use to them.”, she said, walking over to the door.

“Wait!”, Cam said and Kim turned around confused. “You mean…go out…in them?”,

Kim shrugged, “What’s the big deal? They good great with that outfit. Even, more you walk around, the better you’ll get. Now, move you butt before I drag you out.”,

Cam hesitated, not sure if she wants to go with heels on. She looked down black strappy heels and back up to Kim who waved for her to come. Cam sighed heavily and walked over to her best friend.

Cam found it pretty weird to walk around town in two inch dancing heels and she would blush every time a guy would look at her up and down. One actually whistled at her from inside a car. Now she felt like Amber.

            Which she does not like.

Cam had her head down and her hand was cupping her elbow. Kim chuckled, “Come on, Cam. Don’t be so shy. Even, you should get use to it. People are going to be looking at you when we go to the competition anyways. This is also good practice for you.”,

Cam knew what Kim was saying was true and shouldn’t act so shy about it, but she couldn’t help it. Cam happy though she didn’t once fall and she felt more confidence in heels. She knew it was going to be so hard dancing in them.

How can women dance so fast in them? She feels like she’s fall if she spins around.

But that’s why they do say practice make perfect.

Cam and Kim decided to go meet Chris at the ice cream shop since they were only a block away from the ice cream shop. When they got they’re, they talked to a few people they knew.

Cam blushed up when they complement on how she looked in the heels and congratulated her on the lead. Cam was so nervous, though. They needed to win cause they found out what the prize would be. They’ll get signed by big talent scouts if they win and they can become professional dancers.

Cam wanted that. Nat lived his dream, now it’s her time to shine and become big for the thing she loves. Unlike Nat though, she’ll visit her family and never let money change her. She’s not like that. Family means something to her and friends do the same thing.

She wont get over ahead of herself like Nat did.

She sees what money does to people.

After Chris showed up, they all ordered. Cam got a chocolate medium size bowl with rainbow sprinkles. After they all paid, they went over to the booth and sat down. They went off to talk about what it would be like to get signed and be professionals. Chris said he’ll go off doing break dancing, Kim would do ballet, and Cam would hip hop.
