17. Far Away.

            Kim leaned towards Cam, “Guess what I heard.”, she whispered to her and quickly looked at Amber. Cam looked at Kim questionably, “I heard she’s pregnant.”,

            Cam’s mouth dropped and she stared at her in shock, “What?”, she whispered back.

            Kim nodded, “Yeah. Chris say he doesn’t know who the father would be, but she’s pregnant. One of her friends big mouth told and but apparently she didn’t tell who it could be.”,

            “Not ah.”, Cam said. She looked at Amber who was texting on her phone across the room. She turned back to Kim, “I wonder who could be the father.”,

            Kim shrugged, “Who knows. She did get around. I don’t even think she knows.”,

            “I can’t believe it.”, Cam said.

            “I can.”, Kim said and Cam looked at her in shook. She raised her hands, “Hey, I’m just saying. It was only a matter of time. The girl doesn’t know what birth control and condoms are.”. She then grinned, “Soo, it’s been a week. How are you and that amazing boyfriend of yours doing? I haven’t seen you this happy in such a long time.”,

            Cam smiled, “Seth’s great. A true gentlemen. I’m going to his house tonight to meet his parents and have dinner. I’m kind of nervous.”, she admitted. “What if they don’t like me?’,

            “Oh come on, Cam, of course they will.”, Kim said. “Everyone likes you, you’re a likeable person. It’s not an opinion, it’s a fact.”,

            Cam grinned at her friend, “Well thank you. I wonder what I should wear. I can’t seem to choose between a sun dress or a shorts and a shirt. Help me.”, she begged her best friend. “I want his mom to like me. Moms like girls that wear sun dresses, right?’,

            “Yes.”, Kim said. “I been to his house before with Chris because the two wanted to play Halo.”, she said, rolling her eyes. “But anyways, his mom was very nice. She told me she likes classy girls, so a dress is a yes. It has to be that white one with those different color flowers.”,

            Cam nodded, knowing which one it is. They went off to talking more about what she should do with her hair. Cam couldn’t stop the thought about wondering what Nat could be doing. She wanted sigh for thinking of him, but she couldn’t help it. She kind of misses him again now.

            The feeling will go away, but right now, it hurts again. To know everything over between them, it kind of hurts. The hates how she feels towards her first love.

            After practicing for an hour and half, everyone packed they’re stuff and left. Cam, Kim, and Chris walked out of the building and Cam was surprise to see Seth here. She walked over to him, “Hey, what are you doing here?”,

            He chuckled, “I came to pick you and take you to my house.”,

            Cam’s eyes widen, “What? No. You said you’ll pick me up at five. Seth, I’m not even dress.”,

            He chuckled again, “Your fine, Cam. You look beautiful in that.”,

            “No.”, Cam whined. “I can’t go to your house in work out shorts and an old t-shirt with some old converses. I look like I don’t care enough to change into something nice.”,

            “Cam, I live on a ranch. We don’t care what we wear, we wont care what you wear.”, he said. “Please.”, he said, giving her a his bright big smile.
