32. Help Me Remember.

            It was quite with Kim and Cam the whole time they ate their dinner. Cam wasn’t very hungry anymore though after what she just saw. She couldn’t believe Kim did that. She doesn’t get it; she knew Kim and Kyle gotten a little close, but didn’t think it would go that far. Kim’s smart and wouldn’t cheat on Chris.

            Cam knew she shouldn’t be to judgmental since she isn’t innocent either, but Kim has been with Chris way longer then she has been with Seth.

            Once the dinner was over and the guys said they see us in the morning and avoiding a hug from Kyle goodbye, she, Kim, and Nat waiting for the taxi to ride up. Most of the paparazzi has left, about three of them still outside now, but they still waited inside.

            Cam couldn’t for some reason say anything and she heard Kim sniffling every here and now. Cam couldn’t understand why everything is changing and messed up right now. Does this mean Kim’s in love with Kyle now and not Chris? Her and Chris are perfect for each other. But Cam knew she had to respect whoever Kim chooses, but she just hopes Kim knows how hard it is to keep a long distance relationship.

            Once a taxi pulled up, they all got up and left the restaurant. It was much easier to get to the taxi this time and they all piled in, with Cam in the middle this time.

            Once they got to Nat’s place, they all got out of the taxi and up to his door. They went inside and it was awkward silence.

            Nat scratched the back of his head, “So who wants to go down to the beach one last time before you got to leave?”.

            No one said something cause all Cam wanted to lay down in bed. But that means being next to Kim and she isn’t sure what to do right now.

            Cam stepped forward to him, “I’ll go.”.

            “Cam, I’m sorry!”, Kim said finally. “I don’t know why I kissed him! He kissed me first and I stupidly kissed him back!”.

            “Okay.”, Cam said, but isn’t sure how she still felt. Kim always got her when she told her about kissing Nat, but actually, she only kissed Nat about two times and she hasn’t been with Seth as long as Kim been with Chris and the other times she was single. How many times has Kim kissed Kyle? “But I want to get some air, so I’ll be back in a couple of minutes.”.

            Kim looked sad, “Okay.”.

            Nat and Cam went out to the beach and walked away from the house. Cam was looking down at her feet, wishing everything wasn’t getting messed up. She thought about what her life would be like if Nat didn’t come back to Storm. Would she not be worrying about who she wants to be with and actually fall in love with Seth? Would her and Kim never fight about Cam love life is Nat never came back? Would Kim be at Chris’s house for movie night?

            She hates that she can’t get what she wants.

            “You don’t want me to come back, huh?”, Nat asked after a few moments.

            She looked up at him, “You can come back if you want.”, she said. “But I just want to remind you that our lives are different. You’ll be so cool in school—the coolest guys. You’ll still be thee Nat Bynes. A ton of girls are going to be trying to get their hands on you and guys will want to become your friend. I’m just…plain. Nothing going to change.”.

            “You don’t know that though.”, he said.

            She chuckled humorlessly, “Of course I do, Nat. You really think people aren’t going to do that if a rockstar is coming to their school?”.
