Two days later…
Cam’s lips pursed when she leaned over a little and saw Nat with some girl dancing. They were at some 20 and under club and Cam was lift alone at a table with some blue drink. She sighed and pulled her phone out, but realized it was probably one already back home and Seth had to work on the ranch early in the morning.
A guy came up to the table and grin, “Wanna dance? You look lonely.”.
She waved him off, “Sorry, no thanks.”. If wasn’t that he wasn’t cute, he totally was. Clean shaved, nice flipped back hair, sparkling green eyes, and beautiful tan. But she wasn’t in the mood. She actually felt bummed out which she doesn’t know why. “Have a boyfriend.”.
“Well I don’t see him.”, he said, looking around. “Come on, it’s not like I’m going to bite.”. he winked.
She rolled her eyes, but couldn’t stop from chuckling, “That’s your way of getting me to dance with you?”, she asked and he nodded, grinning bigger. She looked toward Nat direction and saw him watching them, not looking happy. Actually, he stopped the girl and made his way toward them. “I may not bit, but my friend sure does.”. she said.
“I would like to see him—”, he cut himself off when Nat slapped his hand on his shoulder and his head snapped up.
“What’s going on here?”, he asked.
“Asking the lady to dance.”, the guy said as if was obvious as 2 times 2.
“Well, what a coincidence, so was I.”, Nat said. “So back off.”.
The guy got in Nat’s face, hovering since the guy was about two inches taller then Nat, “What are you going to do about? You think cause your some big rockstar you can do whatever you want?”.
Cam didn’t want some fighting happening just because some guy asked her to dance. She quickly got up, splitting the two boys apart, “Okay, boy! Not such a big deal.”, she said. She suddenly felt very short between the two boys cause of their glaring at each other. She turned to Nat, “Nat, calm down. Go back to dancing with the clown face girl.”, she said before she could hold it back. But come on, she’s wearing pounds of make up! She then turned to the guy, “Look, maybe later.”.
He nodded, “Cool.”, he said before turning around and left.
Cam turned back to Nat, “Jeez, Nat, picking fights already?”, she asked. She read about his club fights before.
“Clown face?’, Nat questioned.
She groaned, not believing that was the only thing he paid attention to.
He grinned, “You were jealous!”.
Her face heated up and she quickly denied it, “I wasn’t! I was just saying, she remind me of a clown.”.
He bent down a little to face her level, “Lair.”, he said. He pointed right at her, “The pass to day you have been nothing but peeling me away from girls. Okay, you got me on the first two, but I started to realized after them.”.
“I have not!”, she hissed. “I just don’t want you to get all lovely with some girl while your suppose to be here with friends. Third wheel is no fun, Nat. Done it to long with Chris and Kim.”
