Day 3
----------------------------------------------------
=============================
Everything was dark.Wherever Scott was, it was also very cold, he knew this because whatever he was lying on felt stone cold, making him shiver slightly. He tried to open his eyes, but his eyelids were heavy. He tried to move, but he felt too tired to even do that. He just laid there, eyes shut and just wanting to go back to sleep but being unable to. After a while, his eyes didn't feel as heavy and he didn't feel as tired.
Slowly he opened his eyes, he couldn't see his vision was so blurry, he blinked a few times to clear it, but each time he blinked it felt like his eyelids wouldn't ever open again, sending him back to darkness. Luckily after a few blinks, his vision cleared and his eyelids didn't feel like they will keep him trapped in darkness forever. A bright light was shining in his eyes making him wince when he could clearly see just how bright it was, raising his right arm to cover his eyes he rolled over on to his front, wincing in pain as his head throbbed.
Carefully he pushed himself up off of the floor, his head spinning as he did so, something was next to him so he reached up and grabbed it, it was some sort of table he used it to pull himself up. The pain in his head was starting to subside as he pulled himself up, but something off with his surroundings the floor was metal, not wood from the house, dirt outside or even tiled or concrete that is found in the basement.
'Where the fuck am I? ' Scott thought before he continued to pull himself up off the floor.
As he pulled himself up he saw he was leaning on navigational equipment found on a ship, once he was standing straight he looked over the equipment to see three large windows showing a bright sunny calm day outside, there was more equipment to drive the ship as well. "What the-?" Scott muttered but was cut off when someone shouted something behind him, he turned but no one was behind him.
Then suddenly there was a flash of light that looked like it was on the other side of the windows from the light he saw on the floor, turning back around there was now a storm raging like nothing he had ever seen before. The waves where wild and the ship was now rocking violently, Scott couldn't understand what was happening suddenly the ships horn sounded so bad it hurt his ears, he reached up and grabbed his ears and stumbled away from the conceal.
Suddenly a wave roared out of nowhere on the other side of the windows, it must have been bigger than the boat. It suddenly came crashing forward towards Scott, he didn't have time to react or even scream before the wave crashed straight through the windows breaking them like they where nothing, smashing into Scott and sending him crashing backwards, through a door he swore wasn't even there before.
He felt the water fill his lungs, nose and eyes suffocating him, barely he could hear a child crying before it all went black again.
* * *
Scott woke with a start, his heart was racing he frantically looked about the room, he was on the spare bed found in the basement storeroom of the guest house. He recognised the room as him, Lucas and Zoe used to come down to the room to escape from their parents when they where just to much to deal with, they used to steal there dads old projector, tape player and some speakers from a radio for the sound, then set up the room to watch films on the spare bed for the house.
They used to sneak off to the room a lot after his accident with Zoe helping him down and Lucas helping to set up the equipment and the old sheet they used to project the films on. Until their parents replaced the door with the spare large iron they gate they had, they only changed it when Zoe and Lucas broke the old wooden door trying to take down the old sheet one time.
After a few deep breaths, he calmed his racing heart looking around the room a lot calmer than before, the room looked like it had been stripped clean of all items in a hurry, as he could see some items were either smashed on the floor or could be seen through the metal door.
He shuffled on the bed to move his feet onto the floor, once he placed his feet on the floor, it suddenly felt oddly foreign for him to feel one foot on the floor despite having lived like this for seven years.
Suddenly it clicked for him, in the weird ship or storm or whatever it was dream, he was standing on both of his feet, like he never lost it. "What the heck is going on here?" he said as he stood up off of the bed, nothing was different he tried to walk forward but his movements were wonky and he felt to the floor before he could stop himself. He crashed to the floor with his head and chest smashing the floor hard.
"That's still the same outcome", he muttered as he pushed himself up, "Why I thought that would be different I have no clue". When he sat back up on his knees he rubbed his head slightly before he heard footsteps that sounded like they were getting closer.
He slowly crawled towards the metal door, grabbing hold of the door and trying to look and see who was coming.
"Your awake Scotty" A chipper child's voice sounded behind him, Scott jumped out of his skin, rolling over to see Eveline sitting on the bed, in the same dress they found her in during the storm, but for some reason, she seemed... older somehow.
"Eveline... what have you done?" he carefully asked, as his fear began to rise.
She giggles, "can't you feel it? I gave everyone my gift" she smiled at him, but Scott just looked at her confused and her smile seemed to twitch slightly. "Why hasn't it worked!" she suddenly shouted, "your there I can feel you, but I can't access anything", her face seemed to be filled with rage, Scott would have found it cute as she was still a child, but the dark material that seemed to be filling the room just made him even more terrified of this little girl.
"I made sure your mind wasn't conscious so why are you still the same" she raged as she jumped off the bed and marched towards him. "Why are you different", she shouted in his face when she was close enough.
"I-I don't... Eveline, I have no clue what you're on about", he said as panic began to rise.
Slowly her rage seemed to subside, she leaned away from him and now seemed calm and the black material seemed to be moving towards her as she stood before him. "It doesn't change anything" she muttered to herself, "I got what I wanted" she smiled creepily at him.
"I have my mother, father, brother and sister... You won't accept my gift... So you can't be a part of my family as my second older brother" she rambled on, the dark material seemed to be going into her somehow. "There is one way that you will fit into my family" she smiled at him, Scott couldn't help but gulp as she moved towards him but much slower than when she charged at him in rage.
She was smiling at him as if waiting for an answer, 'If Criminal Minds has taught me anything, it's probably safer to participate in their fantasy or die... would this even be considered in this situation?'. Scott didn't have time to think about that answer as he already replied before he even realised it.
"T-that would be?",
She giggled, "you'd be the family pet"
"The what?!"
