ELYSANDRA'S POV:
I wake up with a massive headache. I try to sit up to get my bearings, but I can't. Justin's arms are around me, trapping me in my place. I must have slept over because I got too drunk. I feel the smooth fabric of a hockey jersey against my skin, and smile. Justin really is a great friend; he knows how much I love these. I try to remember anything from last night, but I can't get over the sour taste of lemon in my mouth. My mouth is completely dry, and I'm in desperate need of water. I squirm, trying to wake Justin, but it's no use. He's completely knocked out. I gather as much force as I can by leaning the opposite way before throwing all my weight towards Justin. This works, landing me on top of him, but I'm moving too fast to stop myself. I keep rolling until I reach the edge of the bed. Afraid of falling I reach out for the closest thing: Justin. Unfortunately, I am still falling, but Justin is coming with me. We both fall to the floor, Justin landing on top of me. He suddenly awakens, confusedly asking, "What the fuck?" I laugh at his morning voice.
"Good morning, sleepyhead," I say, amused at his confusion. He looks down at me and smiles.
"How- why are we on the floor again?" He asks.
"You had me in a choke hold, and I needed water," I laugh. Now that the headache is subsiding, I look up at Justin. He's in nothing but his boxers. I remember that I am in nothing but his jersey. My face goes serious. My mind is racing at the possibility... "We didn't...?" I ask.
Justin just stared at me with a confused look on his face, not understanding what I was asking. I give him a once over glance, unable to get the words out. I can see on his face that he's putting two and two together and quickly answers, "No, no, no, I just- you were too drunk to go home and the couch wasn't exactly an option for me, with the party downstairs and-" He is rambling. I smile and cut him off.
"J, it's fine, I just wanted to know," I assure. He still looks worried.
"Would it be so bad - you know, if we did?" He asks. I could hear a tinge of hurt in his voice that makes my heart hurt. Would it be bad? I mean, Justin is cute, I can't deny that. He's the person I trust most in the world. He's funny, and sweet, and passionate. I couldn't see any reason why it would be bad, I guess. I had just never thought of him that way. Why haven't I ever thought of him that way?
"No, it wouldn't be bad," I say, finally, choosing my words carefully. "I just... if I did do it, I'd like to remember, that's all." I had only had sex with one boy before, and that hadn't ended well. I ended up with a broken heart. He ended up with a broken jaw. Like I said, Justin is very passionate.
"You know, I would never let anyone get away with taking advantage of you," Justin assures me. He looks down on me worriedly, twirling my messy curls. I probably look like a wreck. My stomach growls. Justin gets up immediately, reaching his hand out to me, saying, "Let's get some breakfast in you, E." I take his hand and follow him downstairs. We walk hand in hand over to the kitchen.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the lovebirds," Christian says from the kitchen table. He has a blonde girl in his lap. She is kissing his neck, but he wasn't paying much attention to her. Pig. He gave me a once over. "By the way you two were dancing last night and the way Ely looks right now, I'd guess you had quite the night, Bieber." I self consciously look at my reflection in the stainless steel refrigerator. My curls are wild. My lip-stain is smudged beyond repair. My mascara is everywhere except my eyes. My dress is replaced with a hockey jersey. I definitely do look like I got laid last night. I turn to go find somewhere to hide, before I feel Justin's hands on my waist.
"You look beautiful, babe," Justin says to me, before pecking me on the mouth. I know that he was just doing this to protect me from Christian's advances, but the butterflies in my stomach sure don't. He turns to Christian and says, "If you ever comment on my girl again, compliment or insult, I will punch you in the throat," his teeth gritted. So much for staying on the captain's good side. I really feel bad about possibly being the reason for Justin getting benched but I'm too distracted by how hot Justin looks right now.
"Hey, man, didn't mean to overstep. I didn't know you guys were serious like that. I'll back off," Christian says, but his words go through one of my ears and out the other. I look up at Justin's honey colored eyes seductively. I turn to go back to his room, and Justin follows, with a suspicious grin on his face. Suddenly, neither of us are hungry anymore.
