The group walks into the restaurant that they were having dinner in and Marianne and Barry stood in the back of the group while Iris and Felicity hugged.
"Guys, this is Ray Palmer." Felicity says.
"Hi. Nice to meet you." Ray says.
"Mr. Palmer, your table is ready." The waiter says.
"Great. Shall we?" Ray asks.
"Yes!" Felicity says and Marianne hugs Barry's arm while Iris hugs Eddie's.
"How did he get a reservation here? We've been trying for months." Iris whispers to Marianne and Barry. Marianne snickers and nods.
"I have no idea." Barry says.
"Your table." The waiter says and they see the entire restaurant is empty.
"I thought it'd be nice if it was quiet, so I bought out the entire restaurant. Too much?" Ray asks.
"Just a tad, sweetie." Felicity says.
"Ray Palmer, the billionaire." Marianne whispers to Iris.
"Obviously." Iris says. The group sits down to eat.
"So, how did you meet?" Eddie asks.
"Work." Felicity says.
"Well, actually, I bought the company where Felicity was employed, and so she was forced to join me at Palmer Tech." Ray says.
"It's not as creepy as it sounds." Felicity says.
"So you two work closely together?" Iris asks.
"Mm-hmm." Felicity says.
"Interesting." Iris says, "I guess you guys share all your thoughts and feelings and..."
"Yeah... I share everything with Felicity." Ray says.
'Ooh, I know that look, Eddie's in trouble.' Marianne tells Barry mentally, 'Maybe we should change the subject.'
"It's nice that you guys have that level of communication." Iris says.
"Oh, well, no, not every-everything." Felicity says, "I mean, sometimes it's good to just shut up."
"I get that. Some things are better left unspoken." Eddie says.
"Really? I don't find that to be true." Iris says.
"It is sooo nice to finally have wine again. I totally missed that while being pregnant." Marianne says.
"Okay, easy on the wine, babe." Barry says.
'Not like it gets me drunk.' Marianne's thoughts say.
"Here's the food." Barry says. The food is set in front of them.
"Barry. I gotta admit I envy you and Marianne for spending so much time at STAR Labs. Harrison Wells is, like, a personal hero of mine." Ray says, "I mean, it's amazing just to actually be in the same room with him." Barry zones out as he didn't want to hear how great Wells was when Wells might be the man who killed his mother. Barry gets upset and he excuses himself.
"Is Barry okay?" Iris asks.
"Um, I think so. I'll be right back." Marianne says and heads after Barry. Felicity follows Marianne out of the room.
"That was super strange even for you. You've been acting strange since Ray and I got to Central City. What is going on with you?" Felicity asks, "And don't say it's a bad time." Marianne looks at Barry.
