Chapter 18: Prism!

          A few hours later, Barry heads to CCPD to find Eddie and Singh arguing once again about the Flash and Plasma Kat being vigilantes. Joe scolds Barry for not understanding that the Arrow is a crazy man. Barry tries to get Joe to understand that Arrow isn't really a bad guy.

[STAR Labs]

Marianne sat at STAR Labs with her face on the desk while Caitlyn and Felicity walk into the room talking. Cisco was busy having a look at the boomerang and he leaves the room and tells the boomerang to stay still since he'd made it fly around the Cortex when Felicity and Marianne got there the night before.

"Have you heard of color psychology?" Caitlyn asks Felicity.

"The theory that changes in the color spectrum can affect emotion?" Felicity says.

"It is so nice to have another woman to talk to." Caitlyn says, "No offense, Marianne."

"Ugh." Marianne says with her face on the desk.

"Are you still in pain from feeling the impact of Barry and Oliver's training session?" Felicity asks.

"Worst pain in my life and it didn't even happen to me." Marianne says.

"Right." Felicity says.

"I was thinking that if Bivolo uses color to induce the temporary psychosis, maybe we can use light and color to reverse it." Caitlyn says.

"Miss Smoak, a word, if you please." Harrison says. Marianne watches Felicity head after Harrison. Marianne narrows her eyes.

"No eavesdropping." Harrison yells.

"Ugh. Fine." Marianne says.

[A Few Minutes Later]

"Hey, how'd it go with Oliver?" Felicity asks.

"Ah, well, to be honest, this is not the partnership I thought it would be." Barry says.

"Oh, yeah, I heard he really did the thing with the arrows." Felicity says.

"You knew he was going to shoot me?" Barry asks.

"Whoa, it is practically impossible to tell when Oliver's making a joke, then Marianne ended up collapsing in pain in her back." Felicity says.

"Marianne felt it?" Barry asks.

"Yes, I felt it." Marianne says.

"Hey, we just got a ping from the facial recognition software on Bivolo, aka Prism." Cisco says.

"Since when do we have facial recognition software?" Caitlyn asks.

"Happy Hanukah." Felicity says cheerfully.

"Where can I find him?" Barry asks.

"You mean we." Marianne says.

"No, I can do this myself!" Barry say almost yelling at her and Marianne's eyes widen as she steps back in shock.

"I'm not helpless without you. I will be fine." Barry says and he rushes away. Felicity looks at Marianne.

"Are you okay?" Felicity asks.

"B-Barry hasn't yelled at me like that in a long time." Marianne says and she leaves the room. She heads to the treadmill room to be alone. She's there alone crying for about ten minutes before she hears Felicity walking towards her.
