The Flash: Story of Plasma Kat

Chapter 55: A Second Chance!

 "My name is Barry Allen and I am the fastest man alive, married to my beautiful wife Marianne Allen, also known as Plasma Kat, we work secretly with the help of our friends at Star Labs, we fight crime and find other meta-humans like us. All while raising our brilliant son, Constantine Allen. Marianne and I hunted down the man who killed my mother, but in doing so, I opened up our world to new threats. And I am the only one fast enough to stop them. I am the Flash!" Barry's voice says as Marianne's symbol is shot by and arrow before hit with electricity.

Barry, Marianne and Oliver stand together at Jitters as Marianne needed coffee from being up most of the night. Oliver looks over at the video of the Plasma Kat and Flash drinks then looks at Barry and Marianne.

"Since when is that a thing?" Oliver asks.

"About eight months. Maybe if you save Star City, you might get one too." Barry says and Oliver sighs.

"By the way, we still need to get Savage." Marianne says.

"We'll get him." Oliver says. They are run into by a little kid. He drops his Flash and Plasma Kat figures and Barry laughs as Constantine helps him pick up the toys.

"Watch yourself, buddy." Oliver says, "Don't want to lose these."

"Thanks, mister." The boy says. Oliver watches him walk away and Barry blinks confused as Oliver zones out.

"Hello? Earth to Oliver?" Barry asks.

"What's with him?" Marianne asks.

"Good question." Barry says.

"Daddy, I don't like that flash figure." Constantine says.

"Why not?" Barry asks.

"Because it looks nothing like you." Constantine says and Barry laughs.

"Well, action figures normally don't." Barry says.

"Mommy's looked funny too." Constantine says, "I'm lucky. I get to play with the real Flash and Plasma Kat all the time."

"Yes, you are very lucky. Let's hurry and get your mommy some coffee because she looks like she needs one." Barry says.

"I want hot chocolate." Constantine says.

"Only if you don't spill it." Barry says.

"I won't, I promise." Constantine says.

"Alright." Barry says, "Go sit down and wait while we get it."

"Okay!" Constantine says and walks away.

"You're really good at that." Oliver says.

"Yeah. So Joe and my dad tell me." Barry says.

[Later]

Team Arrow and Team Flash all head to meet a nearby farmhouse where they would set up a secure base of operations. Marianne stood waiting for the others as Constantine was still drinking his hot chocolate.

"Superheroes at a farmhouse." Thea says as she climbs out of the van, "I feel like I've seen that in a movie before."

"Sounds like a start of a very hilarious joke." Marianne says.

"We need a secure location." Oliver says.

"What's wrong with STAR Labs?" Caitlyn asks.

"Well, I mean, absolutely nothing if you forget about the revolving door you guys installed so bad guys can come and go as they please." Oliver says.

"Remind me again what happened to your old lair, or the one before that." Caitlyn says.

"Well, Lair number one was compromised by the police, and..." Felicity says before Oliver looks at her, "I will stop helping."
