Chapter 17: The Arrow That Brings Truth!

"My name is Marianne Moons, the Plasma Kat. My boyfriend is named Barry Allen, he is the fastest man alive. When Barry was a child he saw his mother murdered by something impossible. His father went to jail for a crime he did not commit. Then an accident made both of us the impossible. To the outside world Barry is a normal forensic scientist but secretly he uses his extraordinary gifts to fight crime and to fight others like us. One day, Barry and I will find who killed his mother and get justice for his father. He is the Flash." Marianne's voice says. Marianne's cat symbol is shown before it gets an arrow shot through it before a lightning bolt strikes it.

Barry's thoughts drift to Marianne as he runs around the city and she is stuck doing low powered energy blasts at the lab. Marianne's phone rings stopping her from doing her blasts and she looks at the text and smiles. It was a message from Felicity saying she and the Arrow group are going to invade Central within the next twenty four hours. Marianne texts back with a giggle.

"What are you smiling about?" Cisco asks, "Love mail?" She shakes her head.

"Unless you want to call Felicity my secret lesbian lover, no it is not love mail." She says.

"Well, you did stay at her house a couple weeks ago." Cisco says. Caitlyn hits him in his arm.

"She's a woman and Marianne is deeply in love with Barry." Caitlyn says.

"I sure am. Why is he out running around and I have to be stuck here?" She asks, "You know how my blasts are." Barry texts Marianne about a problem and Marianne motions to her phone.

"Barry needs me." Marianne says.

"Alright, alright, you can go." Cisco says. Marianne leaves and she meets with Barry at CCPD. She walks into Barry's lab as she starts speaking.

"So, what's the problem that you text me to come over here for?" Marianne asks. Barry looks up and stares at her but doesn't say anything. She snaps in his face.

"Barry?" Marianne says and Barry finally snaps out of it. He clears his throat.

"Eddie is trying to get Flash and Plasma Kat arrested for vigilantism." Barry says.

"Okay, well, he can try." Marianne says, "Are you okay? You've been staring at me a lot lately."

"Yeah, I'm fine." Barry lies as his face flushes red and he looks away. She grabs the vest top that he wore and pulls him towards her.

"You can tell me anything, Barry, you know that." Marianne says and she smiles up at him. She was moments from kissing him when the sound of Joe's voice stops them.

"Ick, didn't I say not to do PDA here at the station?" Joe asks.

"I wasn't going to kiss him in front of you." Marianne lies. Barry smiles at Joe as he looks over at him and Marianne releases Barry.

"Thanks for the rescue, Joe." Barry says.

"Hey, why did you need rescuing?" Marianne whines and Barry smiles at her.

"Barry, you need to get to STAR Labs." Joe says.

"Yeah, I will. After I eat." Barry says and Marianne rolls her eyes as he grabs her, Captain Singh's burger and fries before rushing towards STAR Labs.

[STAR Labs]

"Anger, Hate, Aggression." Harrison says.

"A Jedi craves not these things." Cisco says imitating Yoda from Star Wars. Marianne and Barry look at Cisco.
