Chapter 6: Two DNA In One Sample!

"My name is Marianne Moons, my best friend and hopefully soon to be boyfriend is the fastest man alive. Now I know what you are thinking. Fastest man alive means that our relationship goes fast? Wrong! It is slower than you think. When Barry was a child he saw his mother killed by something in impossible. His father went to jail went to prison for her murder. An accident made us the impossible. To the outside world Barry is a normal forensic scientist but secretly me and Barry are superheroes searching for the Impossible Meta-Humans. One day Barry will find the one who killed his mother and get justice for his father and I will be right there, to help him when he needs it, because he is the Flash." Marianne's voice says.

Barry, Iris and Marianne walk down the sidewalk together. Iris and Marianne were eating popcorn out of the container in Iris's hand as the three talked together.

"Regular movie scale, that was a seven or an eight. Zombie movie scale, it was, like, a four tops." Barry explains.

"There's a zombie movie scale?" Iris asks.

"Yep." Marianne says.

"Did you know that zombies exist in nature? There's a species of fungi that infects ants, causing the ants to attack plants that can release spores which in turn infect new hosts. I'm going full nerd again, aren't I?" Barry asks.

"Yep." Iris replies.

"It's cute." Marianne says.

"Yeah." Barry says.

"Yeah, it's okay though. You two are still the cutest nerds that I know. Anyways, I'm a lot more interested in the amazing as of late." Iris says and Marianne looks at Barry worriedly. He looks at her as well.

"You mean 'cause of this 'streak' thing?" Barry asks.

"He's out there; people are talking all about him and Plasma Kat." Iris says.

"Sidekick?" Marianne mutters in annoyance as she held back a hiss.

"How do you even know he's a he? Maybe it's a she." Barry suggests.

"It's a man, okay? You know I am really intuitive about this kind of stuff. Someone even posted a picture after being yanked from a car accident. It's a red blur leaving the scene. Here, what do you see?" Iris asks and holds up the phone to the two of them.

"Uh, your boyfriend calling." Marianne and Barry say in unison.

"Oh, I should probably get this. I'm crashing at his place tonight, and he's supposed to leave a key for me somewhere. Hey, babe. What's up?" Iris asks and Marianne and Barry look at each other. The two smiles at one another as Iris walks away to talk on the phone. Barry's phone rings and he answers it.

"Hello." Barry says.

"Code 237 on Waid Boulevard." Cisco says.

"Public indecency?" Barry asks.

"I think that's the wrong code." Marianne says.

"Wait, I think I meant a 239." Cisco says.

"Dog leash violation?" Barry replies.

"Bad man with a gun in a getaway car. Go!" Caitlyn says and Barry looks at Marianne.

"If she notices you are gone, I'll distract her." Marianne says and Barry nods before he zips away. Barry rushes to meet with the bad guy with a gun and he takes him out of the truck the guy was driving and puts him in the backseat of the cop cruiser that the guy was trying to shoot at. Barry returns to standing beside Marianne all before Iris turns around. Marianne looks at him and grins.
