Are we There Yet?

“AHH!” I let out a scream as the girl jumped out on the screen. I dug my head into Harry’s shoulder, squeezing his arm.

The other boys chuckled, but didn’t comment because they were too into the movie. As the next scary part came on screen, I tried to hide further into Harry’s side, scared out of my mind.

When it was finally over, I was still scared shitless and refused to move until Tony turned the lights back on, and even then didn’t want to move. I hate scary movies.

“Come on Hannah, it was just a movie, nothing is going to get you.” Liam said, trying to calm me down as the others got up and stretched; ready to forget the whole all-nighter thing and just go to sleep.

“I’m scared!” I said, still refusing to move

Harry got up from where he was sitting beside me, “You’re my new favourite person to watch a scary movie with.” He said before heading to his bunk.

I looked over at Niall who was chuckling, clearly not affected by the movie at all. He came over to me and held out his hand which I reluctantly took, and he led me over to my bed. I got in, and when he went to go to his bed I stopped him.

“I am not sleeping alone after that!” I told him as I pulled him into the bed with me; it was a tight fit but I didn’t mind. I felt suddenly safe as he wrapped his arms around me.

“Night everyone.” Zayn called from his bunk

“Don’t be scared anymore Hannah.” Liam called

“She won’t be; Niall’s with her. And no funny business, ok guys? Sound travels in this bus.” Harry said and I felt Niall laugh against me.

“Harry, if I said I was scared, would you sleep in my bed with me?” Louis asked

“Of course Louis!” Harry told him

“HARRY I’M SCARED!” Louis yelled

I watched as Harry went over to Louis’ bed and tried to fit in it with him, but it failed miserably; leaving Harry sprawled on the ground while Niall and I killed ourselves laughing and Liam and Zayn just shook their heads amused.

As harry got back into his own bed, Tony shut off the lights and everyone quickly drifted off to sleep.

“How shall we wake them up boys?”

“Don’t; they look so cute.”

“Screw that, you guys woke me up!”

“Alright, fair enough.”

I heard a conversation going on, but it didn’t feel real as I was still half asleep and not quite with it yet. I suddenly got it’s meaning when I felt the blanket that had been around me slowly slide off. I reached for it, still in my not awake yet trance, but it was gone, so I just cuddled closer to Niall. Suddenly I was lifted from my very comfortable position by two strong arms and out of the bed. My eyelids flew open and I saw what was about to happen before it did. The arms suddenly disappeared from around me and I was dropped face first onto the couch.

I grunted and sat up; I guess there are meaner ways to do it and when I looked at Niall I realised I was right. The boys had been meaner to him and he was now sitting up in bed, soaked in water, glaring at the others who were killing themselves.

“Why’d you spare her?” Niall asked accusingly

“They like me better.” I said joining the boys on their laughter

“Oh really?” he questioned with an evil grin. Oh no.

“Niall, don’t do it” I cautioned, getting up and started backing away from him but I wasn’t quick enough as he ran over to where I was and captured me in a big hug.

“Ah! Cold!” I said as we squished together. I was now drenched and we looked over at the other four who were laughing their asses off and thought the same thing; revenge.

They saw our look and scattered but were too late. I grabbed Liam in a big hug and Niall grabbed Harry. We got them wet before I went over to Louis and Niall to Zayn.

When I hugged Louis, he just shrugged and hugged me back laughing.

After we’d all gotten ourselves dry and in clothes for the day, Harry decided he was hungry.

“Foood…..Fooooood……FOOOOOOOOD!” he started moaning when Tony said he’d have to find somewhere to eat before we could actually get any.

Tony found a small diner that had take-out and parked the bus.

“Maybe you guys shouldn’t go in.” I suggested as I noticed how many teenagers were milling around, “Last time didn’t work out so well.”

“Tell me about it. Those pictures are all over the internet now too.” Harry said

“How about you guys tell me what you want and I’ll go get it.” I suggested and they agreed

Once I’d written it all down, and there was a lot, I went out and into the diner. When I got back, I threw everyone their food and Tony set off again before we began munching away.

“Are you sure you don’t want any Tony?” Liam questioned

“No, I switch off with the other driver real soon, so I’ll eat then.” He replied

“How do you guys eat like this all the time?” I questioned. Even though it wasn’t from a Wendy’s or McDonalds, it was still fast food. I rarely ate fast food, and these guys had to eat it all the time.

“When we got to a place were staying for a while, we eat better at restaurants, and just eat this stuff on the road.” Zayn replied

“Doesn’t ma’er what it is to me, I just gotta have my food. Unless it’s Nandos.” Niall said his mouth half full

“I’ve never eaten at Nandos” I said thoughtfully and they all stopped eating to stare at me.

“WHAT?” they all cried

“NANDOS VIRGIN!” Louis cried and Niall and Zayn just shook their heads.

“Were eatin’ there next time we see one lads!” Niall said and they all agreed.

Soon after, Tony switched off and the new bus driver was put into place. For the rest of the ride, we played games, watched movies and just goofed off.

Liam and Zayn were passed out on the couch, Harry was on his phone, Niall was asleep on Louis’ bed and I was drifting off when suddenly Louis shouted, “WERE HERE!”

We all rushed to the window to see Los Angeles. I’d never been before but it was amazing with the lights and buildings and just overall wow-factor. It was warm, but not too warm and we all stared out the windows as we pulled into the city and found our hotel.
