My alarm clock screamed in my ear bright and early like it did every morning and I made a mental note to throw it at the wall next time. I sighed loudly and climbed out of bed contemplating on ditching school today but decided against arguing with my parents all night about how I need to be more responsible and make better decisions. I made my way into my bathroom and turned on my shower as hot as it would go and waited for it to heat up. I glanced at myself in the mirror, the reflection staring back at me haunted me. My eyes were rimmed with dark circles from lack of sleep and my skin was paler than usual.

I jumped in the shower determined to calm my wolf, but the closer my birthday got the more anxious she became.

"Tomorrow is the day you can come out so please for the love of God calm the fùck down in there." I begged her. I shampooed and conditioned my hair and then shaved and scrubbed my whole body. Once I was squeaky clean I climbed out of the shower and wrapped myself in a towel and made my way into my room. I settled for white jean shorts and a grey guns-n-roses t-shirt and some black converse to go with it.

Once I was dressed I brushed my hair and decided to let it air dry into its natural beach wavy form. I applied mascara and eyeliner to make my grey eyes pop. Once I was satisfied with the way I looked I grabbed my phone and backpack and made my way downstairs where my mom was cooking breakfast and my dad was reading the newspaper just like every morning my sister was sitting at the table eating breakfast and playing on her phone.

"Breakfast is ready Stormy." My mom chirped, my sister looked up at me with her nose twisted up.

"You're wearing that?" She asked in distaste making me look down at my outfit second guessing it.

"What's wrong with it?" I asked curiously not seeing the problem. This is my usual style, comfortable. I don't need to wear revealing clothing, that's just not who I am.

"You dress like a bum Stormy it's not attractive and frankly it's embarrassing for me seeing as how we are twins." She explained while she smacked her food. She sits up straight wearing her Barbie pink skirt with a white tank top to match, complimented by hot pink high heels. She is so disgusted by what I'm wearing and she looks like Barbie herself sitting at our kitchen table?

"Well that sounds like a personal problem, I think I dress fine thank you for feeling the need to criticize my wardrobe." I snapped back not in the mood for the 'you embarrass me' fight.

"Whatever I have to go." She rolled her eyes at me and grabbed her dishes and threw them in the sink before she dashed out of the house slamming the front door behind her. I bolted after her so she wouldn't leave me behind.

"I wish you two would just get along for once!" Our mom yelled after I took off after my sister.

By the time I made it outside she was already reversing out of the driveway the tires screeching as they skid across the concrete.

"Misty wait I'm going to be late!" I yelled trying to catch up to her literally running after the car but she pressed the gas pedal down.

"Sounds like a personal problem!" She giggled in her usual bitchy attitude. She wasn't always like this, there was once a time where we used to be bestfriends and were inseparable. We would trade places at school to trick our teachers and friends, and we would stay up all night just talking and laughing about anything and everything but those times are long gone.

Knowing I'd have to walk to school I dug my phone out of my purse and plugged my earbuds in and let my music take me away. I was frustrated that my stupid sister left me to walk to school even though I probably deserve it. I was pissed that my parents were making us share a car, mainly because Misty always hogs the damn thing leaving me to walk or catch rides from my friends.

I started my walk to school and became zoned out to the music that filled my ears while I kicked rocks along the sidewalk and watched them roll across the concrete as if it was the most fascinating thing in the world.

A loud horn pulled me from my uninteresting walk. I was so focused on the rocks that I didn't even notice a car had pulled up beside me. I looked over puzzled trying to figure out who would just pull up beside someone and blare their horn like that and I noticed none other than Daniel Parker, my sisters asshole boyfriend.

I unplugged my headphones and arched my eyebrows in confusion.

"Can I help you?" I asked, my voice more clipped than I expected it to be but could you blame me? This guy is the most selfish, self centered, and obnoxious person on the planet and we hate each other.

"Get in." His husky voice sounded from inside his blacked out Audi. He stared at me with an intensity in his eyes that shook me and not in a good way. His dark brown hair was tossled like he just rolled out of bed. His eyes crystal blue were ocean deep like waves were rippling inside of them.

"Why would I do that?" I asked uncertain, completely thrown off and caught off guard.

"I'll give you a ride to school, it's a long walk from here and you're going to be late." He explained his voice showing no emotion but his eyes held so many.

I glanced at my phone and realized that he was right, if I walked I would no doubt be late.

"Why would you be nice to me?" I asked confused making him sigh.

"Don't read too much into this kitten, just get in the damn car." He snapped and his tone was clipped with frustration. So I did as he said and got into the car and he started to drive the tires screeching as they peeled across the road loudly leaving us in a complete and awkward silence.

"Don't call me kitten." I broke the silence after a few intolerant awkward minutes, making him laugh a genuine laugh, one I've never heard him laugh before. If I didn't hate him so much I'd enjoy the sound of his laughter.

"Okay, kitten." He teased with a wicked smirk on his face. Asshole.
