"I've got to take a shower now unless you want to join me I suggest you get back downstairs before people start to worry about where you are." Daniel winked at me and I swear to God my heart felt like it was going to explode and my cheeks felt hot with embarrassment.

"Got it. I'll see you later." And with that I practically ran downstairs, his laughter filled the room and it was like magic to my ears. My heart was beating a thousand times a minute, like it would thump right out of my chest at any given minute, it was so loud that any wolf within a fifty mile radius could hear it.

When I walked back into the kitchen I felt all the eyes of my friends and my sister on me.

"What could Daniel possibly have to talk to you about?" Misty rudely snapped and I had to stop myself from lunging at her.

"Ways to propose to you." I grabbed a beer from the fridge and popped the top. I tilted my head back and let the disgusting brown liquid slide down my throat.

Misty froze in her tracks and her jaw dropped to the floor. I know it was wrong to lie like that to her especially since she probably believed me but the look on her face was priceless and totally worth it.

"But-what? Are you messing with me?" She asked once she finally came to her senses.

"I don't know, maybe?" I shrugged nonchalantly, which she didn't appreciate. My friends all stood there trying to hold in their laughter but were failing miserably.

"That's not funny Stormy!" Misty snapped and crossed her arms across her chest, her eyes turned to slits.

"No, but the look on your face was totally worth it." I laughed, making my friends laugh even harder. I turned on my heel and started to walk out of the kitchen.

"Stormy I am not done talking to you!" She gasped like I had just slapped her or something.

"Yeah well I am done listening." I replied not really in the mood for her shit anymore, I looked at my friends and gestured for them to follow me. I walked out the back door and into our backyard.

"Not that that wasn't entertaining because believe me it was, what was that about?" Alaina asked following me hot on my heels as we walked all the way to the back of our packs borders near the pond where we used to always hangout to escape the rest of the pack.

Once we got there we all sat down and started skipping rocks across the pond letting nature soak into our pores.

"So Daniel and I talked. He claims he was unable to think clearly out there because he was so worried about me the entire time and then he said that he can't stand the site of Misty which is weird since we are twins but whatever." I started to explain mine and Daniels conversation, each one of them listening intently.

"You know how they had plans of merging his pack with my dads and Misty and him running the merged packs? Well he said that he is going to come up with a new plan...one that includes me instead of my sister." I trailed off reliving my little talk with Daniel.

"How much longer can y'all go pretending to not be mates?" Olivia asked as she plucked pieces of grass between her fingers.

"I'm not sure, the way things are going right now, not much. To be honest it makes me nervous." I admitted truthfully. I knew it was just a matter of time before Misty finds out the truth, and even though we aren't super close anymore I know this will break her heart and no matter how much we argue I don't want to be responsible for that kind of heartbreak. I just hope that she can look passed this especially since we have no choice in the matter. It is destiny after all.
