Well that was INTERESTING! I hope you all are enjoying this book so far <3
----------------------------------------

I walked until I was at least five miles from my house. I was outside of my packs boundaries but still deep in the woods. I laid my duffle bag down behind a tree and stripped down not wanting to rip my clothes and shoved them in my duffle bag. I shifted and was thankful this time it didn't hurt near as bad.

I picked up my duffle bag in my mouth and started to continue in the same direction I was going.

I listened to the crickets chirp and the frogs ribbit in the distance.

'Why doesn't our mate want us?' My wolf asked after several hours of complete silence.

'I don't know.' I answered back honestly. Why doesn't Daniel want me? I'm his girlfriends twin. Is it because she is slutty and I'm not? Is it because she is popular and I am not?

'Am I not good enough for him?' She asked, her voice sad making my heart tighten in my chest.

'You're too good for him. Don't let him make you feel like you're not worthy. Believe me I'm upset too but I refuse to let that sack of shit make me feel like I'm not good enough. We will get through this Kimber, together.' I reassured her.

'You're right, it's just I've waited our whole life to meet my mate. Why he doesn't want us I just don't understand.' She whimpered quietly and my heart broke for her.

'We don't need him-' I started to reply when I heard a branch snap somewhere behind me. I froze in my tracks and waited for more footsteps but there were none. I sniffed the air for a scent but it was clear. Guessing it was an animal I continued on.

'We are both stronger than this. We will stay away as long as we need to, to get passed this hurt. Forever if we have to. Whatever we need to do.' I told her as I continued walking.

'Where are we going?' She asked after a few minutes. Another branch snapped behind me and this time there were heavy footsteps along with it. I looked around with my heightened vision and seen three male silhouettes coming my way so I did the first thing that came to mind, ran. I bolted the opposite direction with them hot on my tail.

"Little wolf little wolf!" One of the men sang in a sadistic way that made me sick to my stomach and I briefly regretted leaving my house.

"Don't run darling we just want to talk! You crossed over into our territory that's a killable offense, you got a death wish?" One of the others laughed and my heart picked up pace. This is it, this is how I'm going to die.

"Enough!" A deep husky voice rattled the trees and it's like all time stood still. My wolf growled in defense unable to see anyone frustrated her even more.

Footsteps neared and all of a sudden I was being pelted by huge rocks each one hit harder and harder making my wolf cry out in pain until two large men were in front of me but since it was dark I couldn't really see what they looked like.

"Goddammit Ethan and Chris! Can't you two follow any orders correctly? I told you to find the wolf who crossed into our territory and bring them to me! I'm your Alpha you will follow my orders!" The third man roared loudly and the two men bowed their heads in respect. The third man came from deeper in the woods and stopped in front of me next to his two men. He was easily two feet taller than the other guys.

"Can I trust you to follow us back to my pack house?" The Alpha asked and I considered running but knew I wouldn't get away and I really didn't want to get hurt anymore than I already was.

I nodded my head in understanding.

'Are you sure this is a good idea?' Kimber asked skeptically.
