I walked up the path towards the back door. Mostly everyone had gone home by now or was passed out in random places. Back by the fire was Ethan and Olivia making out as if their lives depended on it. Neither one of them noticed when I walked up.
"Uhmm." I coughed bringing them out of their lip lock making them snap their heads my direction.
"Oh hey Stormy!" Olivia blushed, her lips swollen and her eyes beaming with excitement.
"Hey have either of you seen Liam or Misty?" I asked curiously while I tried to scan the yard for them but I couldn't even smell them their scents no longer lingering in the air.
"Not since earlier." Olivia giggled as she blushed when she made eye contact with her mate and then suddenly their lips met once again like I wasn't even standing here talking to them.
"Yeah thanks for the help." I mumbled under my breath and walked inside the house. It was quiet other than the music playing throughout the speakers. I started looking throughout all the rooms, bathrooms, closets, everywhere trying to find my sister.
'Misty?' I tried to mindlink her but she wouldn't answer me.
'Misty I'm sorry please answer me. I need to talk to you.' I begged and she still wouldn't answer, not that I blamed her.
I made my way upstairs and continued to look throughout the bedrooms. I checked every single room in the house with no luck. I dug my phone out of my pocket and started to dial my sisters number but her phone went straight to voicemail, so I tried again and once again it went to voicemail. So I tried Liam's phone, his rang twice and went to voicemail. He rejected my call. At this point I was angry not only is my sister ignoring me but now Liam was too. I just wanted to know that she was okay.
'Hey Lee, if you're still with my sister please have her call me.' I left a quick voicemail and hung up the phone.
"No luck?" Daniel asked from behind me, I turned to face him and he looked at me sympathetically.
"No I've tried calling both of them and mind-linking her but no luck." I walked across the room and plopped myself down on the couch in the living room and let out a loud sigh. I couldn't help but be worried about my sister even though she was with Liam. Hell I didn't know who I was worried more for him or her. Surely he wouldn't let anything happen to her.
"It's all going to workout Stormy." Daniel sat on the opposite end of the couch and I couldn't have been more thankful for that because my wolf still wanted him, badly and honestly so did I, stupid mate pull.
"I hope so." I fumbled with my fingers, something I always do when I'm nervous, after waiting what felt like hours my eye lids started to droop and I laid my head on the arm rest of the couch. I felt someone lift my legs and lay them longways on the couch so I was laying down sideways, when his skin made contact with mine tingles went up my legs but I was mentally exhausted and then he draped a blanket over me.
"Daniel?" I called out in the dark.
"It's just me. Go back to sleep." He whispered as he shuffled beside me. He sat on the floor in front of the couch I was laying on.
"Please don't leave me." I mumbled groggily.
"I'm not going anywhere." He reassured me and sleep took over and even though I was worried about my sister I slept so good knowing my mate was next to me.
I woke up to the sound of my mom vacuuming the living-room where I was still trying to sleep. Events from last night came flooding back and I jumped up right off the couch. I glanced around the room and realized that I was alone in here other than my mother. Daniel had left me and went only God knows where. My wolf started pacing back and forth in anticipation.
