I don't know how we ended up here. But stumbling and laughing and dying of exhaustion, we all made it to my house. My mother was working a night shift, being quite an accomplished doctor, and Asher was over at a friend's house for the night. I'd hardly been seeing him lately.

Now everyone was scattered around my living room, half asleep but still fighting to keep conscious as we talked. Rhea and Sam were lounging on the huge afghan pillows next to the couch, heads bent together and whispering quietly to each other. I smiled every time I looked over at them cause Rhea looked so happy. I wonder what happened to library guy.

Avril, instead of sticking with Sam, was surprisingly seated with Caleb on the love seat near the corner of the room, arguing over something quietly and sitting dangerously close together.

They kept picking up each other's hand to play with their fingers.

Axel and Ian were seated, cross legged, on the floor in front of the T.V, phone's in hand as they watched random hilarious cat videos. Or was it goats?

As for me and Ryan, we were on the sofa. Ryan lay across its surface, legs falling over the side and head in my lap. I rested my head on the back of the sofa, eyes closed as I blindly played with Ryan's hair.

We were the only ones completely enveloped in silence, other than the overall hush on the room.

'Psst,' Ryan whispered suddenly, poking my stomach and I cranked open an eye to glare at him.

'What?' I hissed and he pouted his perfect pout, eyes pleading.

'I'm hungry,' he complained. I raised my brows in suspicion, narrowing my eyes at him. 'You just ate half the carnival. You're not allowed to be hungry anymore, fatass.'

He scrunched his eyebrows together adorably and peered up at me. I resisted the urge to run my fingers through his abnormally soft looking hair.

'As far as I remember,' he began, chewing on his bottom lip as he recounted his eating history, 'I just ate a few hot dogs, two corn dogs, some random number of buckets of fries and possibly five Cotton Candy's. Oh, and a bucket of caramel popcorn. That's not exactly the whole carnival is it?'

I stared at him disbelievingly, all thoughts of his hair gone from mind. 'Please tell me that was a joke,' I replied dryly.

He only shot me a mischevious grin.

It's quite a sight, let me tell you, to have an utterly gorgeous guy peer up at you as though they couldn't look away and smile at you as though you make them genineuly happy and send you random heart stopping grins. Quite a once in a lifetime sight.

Instead of gawking at Ryan, I rolled my eyes and pushed him off of the sofa.

He landed on the floor with a yelp and a thud, moaning in pain as the rest of the room erupted into laughter. 'Faye!' He complained as Ian threw a pillow at him and I shrugged, standing up with a grin and walking towards the kitchen.

'I thought you wanted food,' I replied with a devilish grin and waltzed out of sight.

Humming, I strolled over to the fridge and pulled open the door, peering inside as the cool air blew over me.
