Kai POV
I didn't know how long I was sitting there in shock on the bed.

"Kai, babe you hungry, cause I can eat, I'm starving!" Akeem said walking out the bathroom with just his under armor briefs.

"Kai, what's wrong with you, why you not talking I thought you weren't mad at me anymore." Akeem said staring me.
I felt the tears roll down my face

I tried to tell him he didn't do anything, but I couldn't speak.

He climbed onto the bed and lifted me up carefully not to hurt my ankle, and sat me in his lap.

He lifted my chin with his fingers so I can look him in the eye.
"It's going to be okay Kai. I got you baby!" He told me.

Why did he say that.
I immediately starting sobbing uncontrollably, he pulled me into his chest and wrapped his arms around me, and slowly rocked side to side rubbing my back.

"It's okay baby, just let it out." He whispered in my ear then kissed my forehead.

We stayed like that for what felt like forever.
Akeem finally laid me back in the bed, closed the blind and shut the curtains to make the room dark, but a little natural light still creeped in from the cracks.

He turned off the lights in my room, and turned my fan on full blast, making it sooo soothing.
Akeem climbed back in bed and pulled the covers over us and wrapped me up in his arms.

"I'm not going anywhere, I'm right here!" Akeem told me.

"No Keem you have practice, you can't stay" I reminded him after he finally calmed me down to where I could talk again.

"Kai! Do you think I give a fuck about that? I'm not leaving, especially when you're not right, this is my main priority, being here with you, till I know you okay, till you talk to me and tell me what's going on with you, I thought we were good?" Akeem said

"It's not about you, we are good, you did nothing!" I told him defensive.

"Chill, then what's it's about then Kai?" Akeem asked

"I don't wanna talk about it, so go to practice I'm fine!" I told him and pushed away from him and turned over.

Akeem didn't care, he scooted over back close to me, put his arms around me and buried his face in my neck.
"Kai, Baby I'm not going anywhere! So you might as well get to talking!" He told me.

" I don't want to talk about it, it's too painful, and you wouldn't understand, so just drop it, actually get the fuck out." I told him.

"For real Kai, I'm trying to be here for you and you kicking me out, what the fuck is your problem?" He asked growing impatient.

" I DIDN'T ASK YOU TOOO! I DIDN'T ASK YOU TOO HELP ME OR COMFORT ME!!! I DIDN'T ASK TOO BE RAPED AND BEAT!! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE LEAVE ME ALONE TYRELL LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" I screamed completely out of it in tears

I felt Akeem pick me up and sit me in his lap. I tried to fight him off, but he was stronger.
He just held me, and rocked me while kissing my forehead.

"It's okay baby, I didn't know! But you're okay, I got you Kai! I don't know who Tyrell is but he ain't gone hurt you again!" Akeem whispered in my ear

"How can you say that?" I said crying

"How can you be soo sure when you don't know him, you don't know what he's capable of, you could be in danger yourself." I told him.

"Boy do it look like I'm worried about some little insecure coward ass nigga that hurt my Kai! And I know baby because I know how I feel about you, I would go to the ends of the earth to protect and risk it all for you! So know I got you baby!" He told me.

"Well in all honesty that made me feel really good, but I'm gonna need to see it to believe it! You just fucked up less than 24 hours. So you're actions are gonna have to speak louder than your words." I told him.

He grabbed my ass and squezzed it then started rubbing it.
"Oh I'm gone show you baby." Akeem said smiling that Big ass cheesy grin that's contagious!

"Stop cause I'm still lowkey mad at you!" I told him pinching his stomach making him jump.

"Ouch nigga! And stop Bae don't be mad, I'm here okay, I'm here, I'm sorry, and from here on out, I vow to give you my best." He told me.

"Ughhh it's just something about you I can't shake, it's like you got this soul connection with me, but don't think I still won't cut your ass!" I told him.

"Babeee chill with that cutting stuff! I just wanna love you, I wanna be the one who makes you smile, I wanna get on your nerves, I want all of you! Good, bad, ugly, happy, sad! I want you Kai! I've fucked around with a lot of people, but you, Your something that I never had! I actually truly care about you, and love you!" He told me.

"Akeem you almost made me wanna hit a split on the dick right now!! Shit I gotta get outta this house, I'm turning into Kingston!" I said laughing making Akeem laugh too!

"No for real thank you for that! Something tells me you're going to be around for a long time, you keep it up! I know I want you, and I have you, but I want to go slow so we can fully get to know each other, but the way you make me feel sometimes it's hard to slow down, I just want to run off in the sunset with you. But we're still working, you have to deal with your personal issues and I have to deal with mine, and I know we can both help each other through it. I promise I'm going to tell you all the shit about my past but I'm not ready today! Just be patient and I'll reveal my hidden secrets!" I told him.

"I understand Baby!" He said before kissing me.

I kissed him back, with a lil tongue.

"You sure you still don't wanna hit a split on the dick for me." He asked grabbing my ass

"Mhmmmm I do Daddy, but not today, I thought you was hungry nigga, lets go eat!" I said

He laughed.

"Yeah babe come on" He said slapping my ass before getting up.
