"Actually, I just woke up one day and decided I didn't want to feel like that anymore, or ever again. So I changed. Just like that.
•••••••••••
My apartment felt too lonely. So when I spent two hours staring quietly into the black void of nothing, itching at myself because it hurt so much to be in that room, I decided to move out, and I bought my old house.

So after I move out all the boxes once I get them packed, I'm going to adopt a puppy.

I miss Claire and Tiger, and wanting a dog has been on my mind for a while now.

So the only problem now, is getting everything into these darn boxes.

I pick up my cellphone and dial Liam's number. Surprisingly, he picks up.

"Hey Amanda, What's up?"

"I was wondering, could you come over to help me pack up some boxes, I'm moving into my old house today."

"Of course! What time?"

"Is um...now okay?"

"Yup! See you in a few minutes."

"Thank you Liam."

"No problem. Bye"

"Bye."

I smile and chuck my phone onto the dark green couch. Liam only lived a few minutes from here as did Amy, for all three of us, it was easier that way.

The doctors prescribed me some anti depressant pills, and it's been helping a lot. But nothing can ease the pain of losing my best friend.

And Amy's funeral was in two weeks. So I needed all the help I could get.

My apartment door opened and Liam walked in, but he wasn't alone.

"I found your neighbor coming out to get his mail and I thought he could help us pack."

Chris.

"Hey Amanda, how are you?"

"Good. Thank you for asking." I smile and look away.

"I labeled each box so just put the items that would go in there, with their box."

Both boys nodded.

"Okay. Let's do this!" I exclaim.
•••••••••
"Thank you guys so much for doing this." I give Liam a long heartfelt hug. When I pull away, he nudges my arm and winks towards Chris.

I push Liam towards the door. Before leaving, he makes a face at me, and I make one back.

He really is a goofball.

"Hey, Amanda..."

I turn around, "yes?"

Chris's bright blue eyes draw me in and I can't look away.

"Are you interested in dating at all?" His question startles me but I quickly recover.

"I'm sorry Chris, I'm not ready to date right now."
