The place was packed with an enormous crowd of people, it wouldn't sound like too much of an exaggeration if someone said that half the city was there.

You sneaked your way up to a building on one side and hid behind one of the pillars. Everyone was so focused on waiting for Metro Man that they didn't even notice you. You could somewhat see the main area above the staircase, it led up to a huge building that had the entrance and something big covered up by a gold colored curtain. After a few minutes of waiting, you saw a concrete wall with gold star patterns on the sides being placed in the center of the stage.

You suddenly heard Metro Man's voice from behind you. "Thank you for coming." And you felt a hand pat your helmet for a moment.

But by the time you looked, there was no one there.

You briefly chuckled and looked back to the stage. Within minutes, Metro Man punched through the wall.

"All right, put your hands in the air." He ordered. Everyone in the crowd cheered wildly, but you just rolled your eyes. He danced around to the music that played and went down to the crowd to give high-fives, then he juggled three babies in the air.

"Show off." You mumbled.

Once he got the mic and was done playing around, he said: "You know, you know, I just want to bring it down a bit. Boys, a little lower. Thank you, fellas." He started to fly across the crowd.  "Let's get real for a moment, that's right. That's right. That's right." He chuckled.

He walked on the water of the pond that was in the center of the area.

"Although getting a whole museum is super-cool, is super-cool, you wanna know what the greatest honor you've given me is? ...Do you really wanna know? Really?

Everyone cheered loudly.

"I'll tell you. The greatest honor you've given me is: letting me serve you, the helpless people of Metro City." You could swear you saw him glance at you for a moment as he went on. "And at the end of every day, well, I often ask myself... who would I be, without you?"

"I love you, Metro Man!" A random citizen said. "And I love you, random citizen!" Metro Man replied. He laughed as he shot up into the air, leaving behind a brief rainbow from the water spiral he made.

Your ignored the mayor's boring words as he gave his speech, then Metro Man used his laser vision to cut the ribbon, making the curtain over the museum drop. It revealed a huge Metro Man statue, holding a large, golden sphere.

Suddenly you felt something bump your arm. You looked and saw what you had learned was a brain-bot, made by Megamind himself. "No way..!" You thought in surprise. You reached up to see if you could touch it, and it seemed to hesitantly allow you to rub it's fragile, glass head.

You marveled at the blue electricity that seemingly danced around inside, and looked into its one red eye in fascination.

"Wow... you look so amazing!"

It seemed surprised, but it suddenly snuggled up to you a bit, causing you to hold it in your arms.

"Aww..." You giggled.

It made small bark-like sounds, only it sounded a bit happier than it normally would be. You pet its smooth surface of a head, wondering how it got here, when you looked to the crowd and saw dozens more of the little bots flying over the crowd. And from behind the Metro Man museum, dark smoke began to fill the sky.

"Could it be..? Is he really out of prison?" You thought in shocked excitement. You were a bit curious as to why the brain-bot stayed beside you and didn't go with the rest of the group, but you dismissed the thought as the monitors on either side of the museum turned on, and the face of Megamind appeared, laughing evilly.
