How to get rid of a guy:

1.     He may not want to know about the real you, but never mind. Keep telling him about the real you anyway. Chase him down the street if necessary, claw at his trousers if you must, but by all means, keep telling him all about the real you.

2.     Make him watch The Sisterhood of the traveling pants.

3.     Speaking of which, always cry after sex.

4.     Better yet, cry during sex.

5.     Tell him you love him.

A long time ago, like a long, long time ago, I and Kayla decided to look up ways on how to get rid of a guy.

Back in sixth grade she used to have this stalker. – Who went by the name Ernie, might I add – Who just wouldn’t leave her alone.

So, then came the five ways on how to get rid of a guy. We looked up the facts, found the best ones, and wrote them down.

 Though, let’s face the facts:

1: When Kayla told Ernie the stalker that she loved him, it didn’t help with getting him away. In fact, it made things worse.

2: I have no idea why I was thinking of the list now, but I kind of was as I stood there and looked at Aiden.

3:Aiden was also no Ernie the stalker.

As I look at Aiden, leaning against the door, a smile on his face and his arms braced in the door frame, I wondered how I could get rid of him and those memories come rushing back to me.

The reasons behind getting rid of him had nothing to do with the fact I wanted him gone. No, not at all.

The reason I needed him gone was if he stood there, looking all hot and stuff, there was a chance I would get arrested for trying to do this guy on my front lawn.

 That smile wasn’t helping him.

 Or me.

“What are you doing here?” I finally ask him and he looks up and I watch as his eyes travel down my body and back up to my face.

“I’ll answer that question when you tell me what happened to your hair. “ My hand goes to the knot on the side of my head and I narrow my eyes at him.

“There’s a thing called you don’t have to be here, you know “ I say ignoring the whole hair comment.

I knew it looked like complete shit and I didn’t need him telling me. He comes forward and moves his right hand and pokes me in the nose; lightly.

“There’s a thing called a brush you know, “ He retorts back to me and I lean against the door and hold my ice cream closer to me.

“Ha-ha.” I sarcastically breath out and his smile gets bigger. He cocks his head to the side and seems to study me like I was something he never seen before.
