Chapter 20: Now, It's In Pieces
Gerald’s [POV]
I was about to call her when my phone rang.
Baby Girl’s calling…
“Goodmorning babe!” I said teasing her.
“Nabasa mo yung text ko knina?” She asked me coldy.
“Yes, I was about to call you. Are you okay?” I asked her.
“Yeah, Medyo kulang lang sa tulog ng mga nakaraan araw.”
“Naku, maybe we should meet next time na lang Sa, you should take a rest first.” I said worriedly.
“No. No. No. We should talk, I have to tell you something.”
“Okay, okay. But you should take a nap before we meet, text me when you wake up huh.” I said.
“Okay then.”
She hangs up.
After a few hours, I received a text from her and go to the place where we supposed to meet. Suprisingly, this place looks familiar but I don’t really remember when and where I’ve seen it.
Napakaganda nung lugar na pinili niya, ang lamig nung simoy ng hangin. Wala masyadong puno pero medyo refreshing at masarap sa pakiramdam yung lugar. Kung hindi nga lang siya babae, iisipin ko na mag-propose si Sarah sa akin pero syempre hindi.
