"What does it say Rajguru Venkata?" Asked Raja Ekchandra Mudiraj, curiously.
"It's, umm ... It's very bad news maharaj." He mumbled fearfully.
"Spit the news out Rajguru Venkata before I pull your tongue out." He roared.
"Maharaj ... Your ... Your son Kumar Amrendra Baahubali will be the reason for your death...." He mustered the courage to break the dreadful news.
The entire court fell silent, not even the sound of breathing was heard.
Until, Rani Maalavi Devi spoke up, "Why will Kumar Amrendra, who love's his nanna so much kill him?"
"Beacuse he will fight against everyone to take a common girl as his wife." Replied the Rajguru.
CLANG !
The silence of the court was broken once more, but this time by the king himself. He had thrown the glass of wine in frustration.
"Relax Maharaj." Assured Rani Maalavi Devi, "Nothing shall happen."
"Rani Maalavi Devi is right. This must be a mistake." Said Bhoomipati Bhadrarava.
"No, no Bhoomipati Bhadrarava my prediction's are never wrong." Argued Rajguru Venkata in a loud voice.
"Your a mere human Rajguru Venkata." Taunted Dandnayaka Pratapa.
"SO WHAT!?" He yelled on top of his voice.
"Rajguru Venkata, maintain the discipline of the court." Warned Mahamantri Shivdev.
"OH MAHAMANTRI ! LISTEN TO MY WORD'S, OR THE KING SHALL DIE!" Roaring like a wounded lion he stormed out of the court.
"Fool," Spat out Dandnayaka Pratapa under his breath and then spoke louder, "That old man cannot predict his own death." He smirked.
"Hold that rattling tongue of yours Dandnayaka Pratapa." Snapped Rani Maalavi Devi.
Turning to the now, fearful king she said "Maharaj, Rajguru Venkata said that if Kumar Amrendra marries a commoner then you will be killed, but, what if he marries a ...princess."
She had chosen those word's carefully in order to manipulate the sheep headed king.
"Hmm..." He hummed pacing the pulpit in worry. "Will he agree?"
"Leave that to me." She smiled in reassurance.
"Maharaj, Kumar Amrendra and Kumar Rudhra have arrived." Informed the guard at the watch tower.
Raja Ekchandra Mudiraj turned over to Rani Maalavi Devi who smiled in reassurance.
"No one will speak of this. This prediction will only be within the four wall's of the court." She ordered and all bowed their heads in agreement.
"Subhodayam Maharaj." Greeted Kumar Amrendra followed by Kumar Rudhra.
"Subhodayam." He wished hiding his nervousness as much as possible.
His eyes fell on the young lady between Kumar Amrendra and Kumar Rudhra.
"Who is she?" Asked Rani Maalavi Devi eyeing her from top to bottom.
"Amma she is Maithali, she saved our lives at Hampi." Said Kumar Amrendra with a proud smile lighting his face and sparkle in his eyes.
