"Akka, you are looking gorgeous!" Exclaimed Anannya filled with glee.

Avantika smiled at her and replied, "Next you will get married."

"You have chosen someone?" She asked curiously, as she sat at her sister's feet.

"Umm... Kumar Rudhra?" She suggested hiding a smile.

Anannya's eyes widened like huge saucers. Her mouth opened to say something but Kumar Rudhra came at that time.

What timing!... Thought Avantika. And Annaya blushed and ran away from there. How cute!!!! Thought Avantika.

"Wow!" He gasped looking at Avantika. "My vandina (sister-in-law) is looking so beautiful!"

"When did I become your vandina?" She argued with a frown.

"From the moment anna said that he loves you and wants you to be his." He shrugged.

Avantika smiled and held his hands saying, "You know what," She began, "I will always be your sōdari."

He smiled at her and sighed saying, "Anna is very lucky to have you."

Avantika had tears in her eyes, she had never imagined, not even in her wildest dreams that she would marry a prince and that too no ordinary prince. He was Kumar Amarendra, who she was getting married to, the future of Aitarya Brahamana.

"Avanti, I'm always there for you." He assured holding her hands in his. "OK! Enough of emotional nonsense now!" He chuckled.

She chuckled a little and asked, "How is your anna?"

"Look at him blush..." Teased Rajguru Shankara's wife as she applied the turmeric paste on his face, arms and then feet.

The other ladies of the village joined in pulling his leg.

"Rani Maalavi Devi will have the biggest shock in her life!" Laughed one of the woman.

Kumar Amarendra's smile nearly vanished at the thought of Rani Maalavi Devi.

I didn't even think about amma... He thought .... How could I be so selfish...?
