Since Raja Sri Sri Sri Krishnaraj Shekara and Raja Vikram Dev were sworn enemies, he immediately agreed and promised to make Raja Ekchandra Mudiraj the king. A bloody battle was fought for three days and four nights. Raja Vikram Dev and his four sons were killed in the battle by none other than Raja Ekchandra Mudiraj. Maharani Mahadevi Gayatri Devi committed suicide on hearing the news of the loss of her husband and sons in battle."

Maharani Pullamma Devi threatened Raja Ekchandra Mudiraj that Aitarya Brahmana would be attacked. In fear, Raja Ekchandra Mudiraj decided that it was best for friendly relations between the two kingdoms. Hence, he married her and she became the maharani. By that time...."
