"I understand." Replied Avantika, as she continued placing flowers around the Shivlingam.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Yes." Replied Avantika turning to her sister for a moment.
"Amarendra.....is....umm...KumarAmarendra....?" She asked hesitantly.
Avantika stopped placing the flowers for a while and looked up at the Shivlingam. She turned back to her sister and replied, "I do not know him."

Shivu bowed before the Shivlingamand sat beside Anannya. Avantika stood up looking at RajguruShankaraand bowed in respect.
"So," He began, "You do not know KumarAmarendra?" His question was met with a gulp from Avantika who decided not to answer.
"Avanti, MaharaniPullamma Devi and your amma always wanted that you and Kumar Amarendra be one."
Avantika looked up at Rajguruand immediately replied, "I have nothing to do any longer with AitareyaBhramanaand that royal family."
"I don't think so." Replied Rajguru.
"Your heart still longs for KumarAmarendra, it also seeks revenge, and until that isn't complete, you will not be peaceful."
"My heart doesn't long for him." She protested, "Neither do I seek revenge."
She turned to the Shivlingamand said, "All I want is to serve the one who saved me."
"By not fulfilling your duty on this earth, you are disgracing Him." Warned Rajguru.
Avantika was rendered speechless, she sat down on the cold hard floor and shut her eyes.
Rajgurusignaled Anannya and Shivu to leave the temple. They shut the door behind her and left her to herself.
