Epilogue

Five years later.

Senapati Rudhra and Raja Amarendra Baahubali returned after winning a war with their biggest enemy the 'Attappadis' in 'Kerelaputra'.

Both Maharani Avantika and Rajkumari Anannya smiled greeting their warrior husbands who were glad to come back home after a seven months of struggle.

Little Mahendra who was five came running and clung to his nanna who carried him as he entered the palace.

"Where is Pravara?" he asked as he sat on a couch in his room.

"She is angry with you." she replied.

"Why?"

"You did not come back before her third birthday."

Rajkumari Pravara was their daughter, who was two years younger to Kumar Mahendra. The little girl was a carbon copy of her mother.

Raja Amarendra went into the garden and saw his little girl playing with Raksha, Kumar Rudhra and Anannya's daughter. They also had a son named Ram. Both Raksha and Ram were twins.

The two girls were very close to each other and also shared the same age.

"What is my princess doing?" he asked gently carrying her.

Rajkumari Pravara frowned at him and said, "You said you will return before I turn three." she showed him three fingers, indicating her age.

"I couldn't come because I was busy making something for my princess." he smiled.

"What!" she exclaimed excited.

He picked her up and put her on his shoulders. He carried her into his chamber and gifted her a gold necklace with a pair of dolls.

"These dolls are so pretty!" she exclaimed. She ignored the gold chain, all she thought was of the dolls.

"Liked it?"

"Thank you nanna!" she smiled and kissed him on his cheek.

She ran out to the garden once more.

"Be careful lest you shall fall." warned Raja Amarendra.

"So, what's the status of my wife?" sighed Raja Amarendra, observing her from a distance as she ran around his chamber clearing things.

The funniest sight was that Kumar Mahendra was also running behind her.

"Mahendra, sit in one place." she shouted.

"Amma, I'm hungry..."

"Shrushti," she called aloud and immediately a servant girl came running inside.

"Yes Maharani?"

"Take Kumar Mahendra and give him something to eat."

"But amma you feed me."

"Mahendra, amma is busy." said Anannya, "Come I will feed you and Ram together."
