*Hampi, Karnataka. Raja Nagbhairava's palace.*

"I am glad that you both have graced me with your presence."

Said a glad Raja Nagbhairava to Kumar Amrendra and Kumar Rudhra who were still unsure of this generous offer.

"We are honoured to be invited." Smiled Kumar Amrendra, though not too pleased.

Both the prince took their places in the court and the king sat himself on the grand throne.

"Raja Nagbhairava, the reason for the invitation..."

"Let's not be too formal, but enjoy Naagvalli's dance while we can." Interrupted Raja Nagbhairava.

"Who is Nagavalli ?" Whispered a suspicious Kumar Rudhra Deva.
"Is she some vish kanya ?" He added.

"Rudhra I am as new as you are to this place. Don't ask me such questions, rather be vigilant." Replied Kumar Amrendra.

The musician's entered the court and took their place beside the female singer's.
Beautiful jasmine fragrance filled the court and the sweet dancing of the anklets alerted Kumar Amrendra and Kumar Rudhra while the others in the court were at ease.

Her beauty was so mesmerizing that no one could take their eye's off her. Her almond eyes, her beautifully shaped almond eyes, her sleek waist and her sturdy hips could strike lust in even the most chivalrous of men.

In a blue and silver attire with silver jewellery, she glittered like a fairy from the courts of Lord Indra.

Kumar Rudhra Deva let out an audible gasp when he beheld her beauty while Kumar Amrendra was far too cautious to give away reaction he had bubbling within him.

"Subhodayam (good morning) Raja Nagbhairava."

The meekness, the sweetness and the boldness was a perfect blend that made young Naagvalli the centre of attraction. It wasn't only grace and beauty that mattered but also the guts to face the king, his behaviour and the wit of the courtiers.

Raja Nagbhairava was one of the most deceitful king in Karnataka. His eyes were fixed and longed for the most beautiful women who could please him in bed. But, he loved Naagvalli most beacuse of her wit and the guts to avoid him.

"Aaah.... Naagvalli... Aaah...." He moaned eyeing her lustfully and longfully.

Kumar Amrendra's eyes caught Raja Nagbhairava's aroused look and then at Naagvalli who looked blank.

Doesn't a woman feel disgusted when a man beholds her with lust? He wondered.

He felt too suffocated to sit any longer and wished that this would soon end and he would be home once more with political affairs.
