I wasn't sure what to feel when Jessica had finished telling me about her past. I could tell she felt like a weight was lifted off her shoulders though. She had been through so much and held back a huge secret for 3 years. We were sitting on her bed and she was still silently crying, I wanted to cry with her but it felt like all my emotions were in shock. While sitting, a gentle knock came from the door and Confid came into the room.
"May I?" He asked, walking on the other side of the bed and taking a seat next to Jessica. He held out his open arms and Jessica immediately leaned into him, wrapping her arms around him and bawling her eyes out yet again. Her breathing was short and staggered and the sounds she was making was full of heartache and pain.
The door creaked and into the room came Roan, his shoulders back but his head hung a little low. "Rachel." He said quietly.
I gave him a small smile, "I think I'm gonna go and head to bed."
He gave a quick nod and stood on the side of the bed that I was on.
