A Hard Fall ( Josh Hutcherson)

Josh's POV:

We went to the store, and headed to the school supplies. Once we turned down the isle Allison clung to me like a magnet. There was another boy in the isle, thats all. Then he looked over, and I could tell he recognized her, he had sorrowful eyes and Allison didn't make eye contact. She was on her phone and what looked like pretending to text. The person she was "texting" was me and it was paragraphs of random letters. Allison turned around that second and went in the next isle leaving the boy speach less.

Allison's POV:

I couldn't be near him anymore. I went straight for the next isle and Josh followed. I grabbed all I could in that small section. Pens, 6 white binders, 3 blue, 2 red, one pink, mechanical pencils, and erasers. Shit. I still need paper, pencil sharpeners, protractors, and highlighters. I tell Josh to go and find some storage baskets, and head slowly to that other isle. Hoping he isn't there.

As I turn around to that dreaded isle, I can see that Justin hasn't moved. He looks over to me with sad huge eyes and opens his mouth slightly as if to say something, but I hold up a hand and stop him.

"I don't want to hear it dick wad." I spat out with the rudeness burning in my voice. He closed his mouth and looked hurt, but he wasn't as hurt as I was last year. Our stares stayed, and neither of us looked away for a while. I didn't want to hear his apology because I know that nothing he says will make me forgive him.

Josh's POV:

I run a few isles over, and can just barely hear Allison's voice. I can't make out any words but can hear the anger in her tone. I grab the nearest plastic bin, about a foot long, and dash back to the supplies section. I can see that boy and Allison having a stare down. I go up to Alli and grab her gently by the waist from behind. She jumps in surprise and turns.

"Lets go." I say calmly and lead her away. I can still feel that boys cold stare as if his eyes could burn holes into me. This probably won't be the last time I see him.
