-30- The park p2

Gabbie's POV:

I run up to Connor and almost attack him with a hug. He hugs back, and doesn't let go. I don't want him to, earthier. He seems to jolt like he had been in a daze before he lets go of me.

"Gabbie," he says and puts a hand out to me. Will you take the honor, of being my girlfriend?" I giggle at how cute he is.

"Yes." I say just as formal as he did, but on the inside I am jumping up and down with excitement. I take his hand with a smile glued to my face, (I couldn't stop smiling) and get a closer look to what he had done. There was a gazebo covered in white lights, shaped like christmas lights, and in the gazebo there was a radio. To the left, there was a picnic blanket laid down on the floor, and a picnic basket on top of it. He walked me to the blanket and motioned for me to sit down. I did and he set up the plates for us. I can't believe Connor had planned all of this!

Josh's POV:

Allison had fell asleep on my shoulder and was lying in my arms. The sun had just went down before she fell asleep. I kissed her forehead, and she must have not been entirely asleep because she wrapped her arms around me.

"Come on, lets go on a walk." I say.

Her response is a groan.

"Allisonnnn." I whine. I get up and grab both of her hands. "One...Two...Three!" I yell and pull her up to her feet. She comes up quickly and her eyes are open.

"Heyyyyy." She whines and leans on me. "I'm tired."

"Fine." I say and intertwine my hands with her's. I walk backwards and pull her along with me. "Then I will wake you up a little bit. Don't fall behind!" I yell and run deeper into the trails.

"Josh!" I hear her yell and she starts to run behind me. I slow down and wait for her to catch up. She jumps up and tackles me, but she isn't strong enough to knock me down.

"You awake now?" I ask. She nods and we start to walk back to the park.

"Look." She says and points up to the moon. It is high up in the sky and full. The sun reflects off of it and I can see the craters in it.

"The moon and back." I say, knowing what she means.

"To the moon and back." She responds.

Gabbie's POV:

Connor and I both finished eating our sandwiches, and he got up and turned the music on.

"Come on!" He said. I stood up and put my hands around his neck in a hug. He wrapped his hands around my waist and hugged me tight. We released each other after what felt like ages. Connor's smile was bright and he pulled me over to the hammock. He laid down on half and patted the empty space next to him. I lay down next to him and rested my head on his chest. "Look at the stars." He said pointing up. I looked up and saw that it was beautiful. The moon was shimmering and looked stunning.

"To the moon and back?" Connor asked me nervously. Once he said that I knew that it was Allison and Josh's saying.

"Well we need our own thing. That saying is for Alli and Josh. We can't steal it from them." I said. He nodded and thought for a second.

"Well what should our thing be?" He asked. "Oh, I got it!"

"Okay, what is it?"

"Forever? I ask you and then you say, 'forever" He stated. "Here, lets practice." I giggled and nodded.

"Okay, go!"

"Forever?"

"Forever." I laughed and looked into his brown eyes. They shimmered in the moonlight and my stomach exploded with butterflies. Connor lightly brushed my hair aside from my face and held my cheek.

"Forever." He whispered and our lips connected. It was like nothing I have ever felt before, and I wanted it to last forever.

"Gabbie!" I heard a feminine voice scream. Connor and I jolted away from each other and saw Alli and Josh walking toward us. Connor cleared his throat and glared at Josh. All he did in responce was a shrug, but he had a huge smile on his face. My eyes move to Allison and I give her a confused; annoyed look. She just puts her hands up in defense. I get a closer look at them, and they are soaking wet.

"Get a lil wet down there?" I ask. She nods, but before she realizes what I mean, once she does, her eyes widen.

"Ew! Gabbie! No! Ew! I fell in the pond and pulled him in with me! Gabbie!" She said and hit my arm. I laughed.

"Hey can we get the extra blanket in the trunk?" Josh asked shivering. We started walking to the car.
