Allison's POV:

"So tell me about that boy we saw at Target"Josh said biting into an apple. I sighed and started to tell the story.

"It happened about a year ago in 9th grade. Justin and I flirted, and dated, it was on and off, on and off, so in April we started again, but this time it lasted. He was a perfect boyfriend, he would buy me flowers, called me his princess, which I admit was a little annoying but kinda sweet, and always put me first. So in about May or sometime, I started to invite him over to my house, we played video games and talked a lot. One day, about a week into May, I saw him at school hanging out with the potheads. I pushed the thought of him on drugs or anything away. I knew he was to nice and lovable for him to do that. I called him and invited him over to my house to talk about it."

I stopped for a few seconds. I had never told anyone this, and even though Josh looked interested and calm, I could tell he knew what was coming. I got myself together and started again.

"At the house, Justin acted really different. he was tired, sluggish, and looked pissed off. The smell of smoke covered him. I had never seen that side of the bright, happy, sweet boy. I asked him what was wrong, and he said nothing, so I told him not to hang out with the crack heads. He flipped out, started screaming at me for calling his 'friends' that. I was shocked, and told him to stop. We were both yelling and he slapped me. He pulled me by my

hair and slammed me against the wall."

I paused to let out a shaky breath and Josh went to wrap his arms around me but I pulled away. I took a deep breath and continued.

"He must have been high or wasted, because he started hitting me and punching me in the face. The second I spit up blood he seemed to realize what he had did. He slowly backed away with tears in his eyes, and I had him leave. I thought that it was just one incident, but it happened 3 more times. He would just come over to my house. No invitation. One time he had........" I paused again. It was a hard story to tell. "He had raped me." I spat out quickly. There was a second of silence then I slowly accepted Josh's arms to surround me. Tears streamed down my face but I wiped them all away. I had finally told someone this.

"Well don't let him bother you. If he does just come to me. Okay?"

"Okay."
