Chapter 18

The next morning came up and I woke up with jeff's arm wrapped around me. I turn around and I jeff starts to wake up.

"Good morning." Jeff said as he smiled at me.

"Good morning." I said to Jeff.

I kissed Jeff and I smiled at him.
"Yesterday was amazing." Jeff said as he smiled at me.

I smiled at him once more and I got up to brush my teeth and wash my face then I made some breakfast.

We both sat down at the dining room table and ate some breakfast together. Jeff and I got dressed for school and I drove to school. Now I have my own car since my mother left if. We walked in together and people were staring at me.

I went to my locker and clay was there standing smiling at me. "Hey clay." I said as I ran up to him.

"Hey Mia." Clay hugged me back. "I'm glad you're fully okay." Clay said as he was still hugging me.

I saw Hannah going to her locker and I went up to her. "Hey Hannah." I said as I tapped her shoulder.

"Oh my god hey Mia." She said as she hugged me.

"Thanks for being there." I said as we let go of our hug.

"Im glad you're alive and it made me realize something can we talk about it during lunch?" Hannah said.

"Yea sure." I said smiling at her.

The bell rang and I went to class. I had communication class and the teacher was just talking about feelings and things like that until she came up to me.

"Mia are you okay?" The teacher said infront of everyone.

"Yes I'm fine why?" I said confused.

"We heard what happened." The teacher said.

I looked at her more confused then ever and people started to stare at me the whole class period. The class period ended then I went to talk to the teacher after class.

"Um Mrs.Bradley." I said as I walked up to her desk.

"Yes Mia?" Mrs.Bradley said as she looked up at me.

"So I'm really confused, why did you say you heard what happened?" I said.

"Well Mia we know you tried to commit suicide and well the cops asked if we seen any signs but Mia I never did you were always so happy." Mrs.Bradley said worried.

"Well I dunno, but I have to go Ima be late." I said then I walked out of class and walked into my next class period.

All teachers looked at me the same, worried is the face they had and students just looked at me like what went wrong. I never been bullied but the depression from my parents really hit me in a bad spot.

Lunch came up and I sat with Hannah, Jeff and clay sat with Justin and his friends.

"So Hannah what did you wanna tell me?" I said as took a tater tot and I put it in my mouth.

"Well um I'm glad to see you alive and it really opened my eyes." Hannah said.

"What do you mean?" I said confused.

"I was having suicidal thoughts." Hannah said.

"What oh my god, Hannah please don't think that way it's not a good feeling." I said worried.

"I know it's not but after seeing what happened with you and I was scared and sad and I thought that I should've done something to stop you from doing it. I didn't want any other people feeling like that and especially putting my parents through hell." Hannah said.

"Well I'm glad you decided not to think about that stuff, but what I went through was hell for me I just felt dead inside anyways and I thought I should just be gone but that wasn't the answer."

"I know Mia and I'm happy that you didn't die and I'm glad that I've finally realized that there is more to life." Hannah said smiling at me.

I got up and I hugged Hannah, she hugged me back and then we smiled at each other as soon as we let go. Lunch ended and Hannah and I went to math class together. Math passed by and then I had a free period.

I sat down outside and justin came up to me and hugged me.

"Mia I'm so glad that you're okay." Justin said happy.

"Thank you Justin." I said as I smiled at him. Justin sat next to me.

"So how's everything between you and Jeff." Justin asked.

"It's going great. What about you and Jessica like how's it going between the two of you." I said smiling at him. Justin looked down like he wanted to say something but then Bryce was walking with his friends and Justin looked at him wrong.

"Justin? Are you okay." I said.

"What? Yea I'm fine I've just been losing some sleep lately." Justin said.

"Why what happened?" I said with a worried look on my face.

"Just so many things and people have betrayed me and I betrayed the people I love." Justin said sad.

"What do you mean?" I said.

"I don't know I'm just talking crazy." Justin said.

"Justin you know you can talk to me right?"

"Yea I know." Justin said.

We talked all period then when the bell rang we exchanged hugs and there more classes, classes passed by and school finished.  Jeff drove me home and we walked in together. Once we walked in the house I put my coat on the couch and I went in the kitchen and found my mom and her boyfriend and my dad sitting down at the dining room table waiting for me.
