Chapter 24

"you said this happened more than once." The judge said.

"Yes your honor, Mia had told me that at first it happened at a party at HIS house. Bryce walker had touched her in his hot tub with out her permission. Then the second time was at HER party he came into her room and she went to investigate the noise then she finds Bryce standing there looking through her stuff, when she tells him to leave he doesn't cooperate so he ties her up and penetrates her. The third time he was in the girls school bathroom. Mia tried to leave he locks the bathroom door and he slams her against the wall chokes her, unbuttons her shirt and violates her again." My lawyer said.

"Objection!" Bryce's lawyer says.
"Do you have evidence that this had happen." His lawyer says.

My lawyer shows pictures to the people with a projector board. He clicks through the picture.

"Mia has bruises on her wrist from when he had tied her up, these are marks and hickies on her back from when she was being raped while she was tied up. Mia has a handprint around her neck from the day in the school bathroom and they match from Bryce's handprints and fingerprints. There are also bruises on her chest and more hickies from when he unbuttoned her in the bathroom and started to violate." The lawyer took the computer to the judge and she looked through them.

Hours passed by and people were already ready to vote him in.

"Will the jury foreperson stand? Has the jury reached a unanimous verdict?" The Judge said.

"Yes we have your honor." The man said.

"The jury finds the defendant guilty." The man says.

"Thank you. You may sit." The judge says.

The man sits back down.

"Bryce walker you have been charged guilty for the crime of sexual abuse and assault. You will be sentenced in prison for 5 years. Court is adjourned." She then slams the gavel I turn my head and I see Bryce starting to cry and his parents and family were shocked.

I walk outside and Jeff hugs me and I kiss him on the lips.

"I love you so much Mia." Jeff says as he kisses me again.

"I love you too Jeff." I said as i smiled at him.

My father walks out and he hugs me. I look behind me and kids from school come up to me hugging me saying sorry and other kinds of things.

Later that night Jeff came into my room.

"Hey Mia." Jeff said as he came in and sat on my bed.

"Hey babe." I said as I put my book down and smiled at him.

"Okay so I wanna take you somewhere." Jeff said.

"Where?" I said looking at him confused.

"It's a surprise." Jeff said. He came up to me and blindfolded me. Before I got up he kissed me, I smiled with joy.

I got in the car and we drove somewhere, Jeff helped me out the car and helped me walk somewhere.

"Jeff can you please tell me where we are now?" I said smiling.

"Wait not yet." Jeff said as he giggled.

I stopped and Jeff came behind me and took off the blindfold. I looked around and it was park there were little lights lit up around and some candles. The park looked familiar to me.

"Where are we?" I said smiling.

"When we first met in kindergarten. I kissed you on the cheek and you thought I had cooties and then we just played tag the whole day." Jeff said giggling after.

"Oh my god Jeff this is so beautiful did you do this?" I said as I touched the little lights.

"I did." Jeff said smiling.

I smiled and I went up and wrapped my arms around jeffs neck and I kissed him. Jeff grabbed my hand and walked me towards the blanket and the picnic basket.

We sat down and he grabbed a candy necklace out the picnic basket.

"So remember we shared that candy necklace you had here at the park." Jeff said.

"You remember that?" I said giggling.

"Yep and I remember that you could not stop talking about your favorite candy nerds." Jeff said as he brought out a box of nerds.

"Oh god Jeff you didn't have to do this." I said smiling at him.

"I wanna recreate the day except better because you don't think I have cooties." Jeff said smiling at me.

Jeff kissed my cheek and I smiled then looked at him.

"Eww you just passed me some cooties." I said making a face. I got up and ran as Jeff chased me around the park.

I slowed down and Jeff picked me up and swung me around.

As I got put down he kissed me.

"Jeff you really are the best boyfriend." I said as I smiled at him.

"I love you Mia." Jeff said.

"I love you too." I said then I kissed him once more.

The next day we had school I woke up and I did my usual morning routine so did Jeff.

"Bye dad see ya." I said as I kissed him in the cheek.

"Bye honey. Have a good day." My dad said as he smiled. We all walked out of the house and went Separate my dad went to work and me and Jeff went to school.

We got to school and we were greeted by everyone. Lunch came by and I sat down with Jessica, Justin, clay, Hannah, zach, Marcus, courtney, Sheri, Tyler, Ryan,Alex, and tony.

We all sat together during lunch and just had a good time.

"So guys we should go to monéts after school." Hannah said.

"Yea that sounds good." Everyone agreed.

"Hannah, you still like hot chocolate." Jessica said as she smiled at Hannah.

"I'll get it if you do." Hannah said.
Hannah then looked at Alex.

"Do Alex you getting hot chocolate or are you still exploring." Hannah said.

"I think I'm still exploring." Alex said smiling.

We all smiled at each other and talked to each other but for me school had never been better.

Well there you have it this is what happened on my crazy year of being a junior. But I've got to be with someone I love a lot and great friends and I hope it never changes, finally I'm going to be a senior I've been waiting for this day.
